Deck Description

wanted to find a way to abuse Hell's Caretaker. and this is what I came up with. comments and suggestions are welcome and wanted actually. I couldn't find very many cards that fit the theme I was going for.

How to Play

try to get out the Caretaker and intruder alarm as soon as possible, and sac other creatures to get the most use out of their abilities.

skirsdag high priest and flesh allergy are the big threats.

Deck discussion for graveyard fun (help wanted)

I dunno about your budget, but Entomb and Buried Alive are good at getting creatures in your grave to target with Hell's Caretaker. Good targets that put creatures on your board for more sacrificing are stuff like Grave Titan, or if you're poor, Maalfield Twins. Decent early game creatures to sac them too would be stuff like Festering Goblin or Blistergrub.

For synergy with Skirsdag High Priest, maybe try stuff like Wakedancer, Skeletal Vampire, Marsh Flitter, or Dread Drone? Abhorrent Overlord can be a useful Entomb/Buried Alive target too.

totally forget about blistergrub and festering goblin. thanks. :) the titans are all pretty good, so I will look at it again, because I can't remember what it does on entry. as for synergy with the high priest... I will look at those as well, but I was trying to go for stuff that is pretty cheap mana wise. the vampire and eldrazi are both at least 5 mana. and I can't rmember what the others are but I will certainly look at them.

thanks for the input. :) feel free to give more suggestions if you have any. :)

Bloodghast is great for multiple sacs.

while it does work well with sac abilities it doesn't give any benefit for bringing it back or having it die. although it is nice just for sac fodder for morbid. I will sideboard it and see if I like how it plays with the rest of the deck. :)

y no blood artist?!?!?!??! i know hes tough to get ur hands on sometimes but he would supercharge this deck. i have one in my golgari edh deck and he is just crazy. also reassembling skeleton wouldnt be a bad card to add either. ditch cancel for dissolve. to me it has better uses that or dissipate.

hope that helps ya.
