Deck Description

5 color enchantress EDH. The enchantress Archetype provides a robust draw engine and suite of answers and global mechanics to lock opponents out of the game (pillow fort style), Play politically, and accrue massive card advantage. Your game plan is to set up one of a few Soft locks with enchantments so that you Can safely attempt a voltron win with Cromat, an opalescent board, or A combo. Combos include helm with rest, Enchanted evening with aura thief, spreading algae + urborg, spreading algae + Auratog + enchantress, humility + island sanctuary, spirit of Resistance + Cromat, and energy field + rest. The deck is packed with ramp, answers, recursion, and "good stuff" like maelstrom wanderer and Kozilek to raise its overall power. Really fun to play and a welcome change from the typical nonsense goodstuff Of 5 color.

Comment with suggestions on how to improve the brew!

The sideboard is for cards i'd like to test.

Deck discussion for Cromat 5c Enhantress EDH

Some ideas:
-Sphere of Safety should absolutely be in this, as it is a pillow fort based on enchantments
-Propaganda and Ghostly Prison are also good for pestering opponents who want to invade your fort
-Banishing Light is basically a better version of Oblivion Ring, since they can't bounce the ability back at you
-Greater Auramancy is similar to Privileged Position to keep your stuff safe
-Aegis of the Gods and Leyline of Sanctity are both great to save you from burn, mill, and sacrifice
-Spectra Ward on Cromat lets you kill them in just 3 turns (or less) thanks to commander damage
-Any of the Archetypes from Born of the Gods would help out here, but the most useful one overall is likely Archetype of Endurance
-Asceticism is also a good enchantment to give hexproof to your creatures
-Painful Quandary slows down your opponents and is just plain mean
-Celestial Mantle and Boon Reflection are great for speeding up lifegain

I didn't really know what you wanted, so I gave lots of ideas. I don't know what you would swap for them, but if you are going for a pillow fort feel, I absolutely recommend Sphere of Safety. I play a rainbow EDH with Cromat as my commander, though I have been considering switching to Progenitus as the general.

Hope I helped!

Sphere and propaganda effects might be added To beat tokens and Kiki combo. I think I prefer propaganda to sphere since it's 2 mana less and accomplishes basically the same goal. Teferi' moat is also on my radar. I think greater auramancy is overkill since position and grove do it better (and its a 12 dollar card). Debtor's knell could be the win con I'm looking for; I'll start testing it now. The archetypes and asceticsm would do better in a creature heavy version, but might just doesn't need them. Auras that give Cromat a shorter clock at interesting.... I'll
Need to test just how effective he is at voltron on his own. I think I'd prefer running the bant exalted enchantment (can't remember name) as it works better with kozy, narset, and maelstrom. I'm considering leyline of sanctity but need to determine whether or not it's worth it. Thanks for the comment!

For multiplayer EDH I created a pillow fort/clock based enchantment only EDH with Genju of the Realm as a commander (allowed in my playgroup).
I think several of the enchantments can prove to be very useful, particularly baneful omen, Debtor's Knell, Luminarch Ascension, and never underestimate Mogis, God of Slaughter ( he has won me many games :) ) Bloodchief ascension and Thoughtrender Lamia are a huge addition too.

I don't know if I need ascension with sigil, but I've considered It and sacred Mesa as wincons.
None of the gods really stand out to me except for Keranos and Xenagos, and those both didn't make the cut.

Bloodchief ascension is great, but I couldn't resist pairing it with mindcrank for the combo. Baleful omen is just too much mana for not impacting the board immediately and only having the potential to hit. Debtors knell seems much better at that mana cost.

Thanks for the comment!

Glad I could help :) I can confirm that having Debtor's Knell with Privileged position is mostly gg :)
