Let me know if there are any changes you feel that I should make to the deck, thanks! :D

I put together almost the exact same deck. I am using Ash Zealot and Rakdos Cackler over Legion Loyalist and Firedrinker Satyr. Maybe a mix of those four creatures would be best? I also like Coordinated Assault and dropped one Mutavault to fit one in. Deck can be very brutal, but have not played it enough yet at FNM to see if it has true competitive legs. I also added Peak Eruption to the sideboard for the mirror match, and I think that will be a key in the mirror, but again have not proved it in actual play.

Ash Zealot for sure! Also, I don't like that Satyr either; probably cuz I don't like things that hurt me.

I never liked the Satyr either but when I talked about it with others we came to the conclusion that this card is the nuts in this deck. In Mono Red aggro you shouldn't really care about your life total because this deck is either boom or bust. A 2/1 for 1 is nothing to sneeze at and plus with a fire breather ability, you could hit big on turn two with multiple BurningT's. Also I felt that Legion Loyalist is a better option in this deck strictly because of Elspeth which is going to be in like every deck. The ability to be able to get past tokens with the battalion is the absolute perfect counter to Elspeth, imo. I feel that Cackler is real good, and I'm going to test it out with the Satyr and Loyalist for sure though and see how everything turns out and ill then make changes to this deck after.

I liked the Satyr at first, and I agree with you that it is good early on, but later in the game it got me killed by creatures getting pumped up with instants.
Also, in my mono red deck very similar to this, I'm trying magma jet in place of shock: i was worried about going from 1 to 2 mana, and it has been working out.

If you play the Satyr you need to be able to give him firststrike to offset any large amounts of damage - ergo Coordinated Assault. Still not totally convinced he is the best choice, but gives a use for your extra mana midgame.
