I played dotp13 (ps3) the other day and defeated my opponent with dreams and sign in blood. This deck reminded me of that.

So I heard that jace's erasure and underworld dreams could be deadly with this deck.

MtM has a cmc of 2. You would need something with cmc 3 to pull out gilder.

Thought's on spear of heliod and acolytes reward? Could you make a modern extraction deck (mill, iso-seek, etc... your choice)?

Yeah, it does. I think I'm going to stop playing standard after JiN gets here, mostly because I don't have time for tournament play and because my friend group plays casually. If I do get a chance, I'm sure I'll be able to borrow a deck (even though my friends usually borrow my decks).

So I heard that manamorphos on a stick was a thing. Since you don't really have card draw, why not use phyrexian stuff (eg: http://www.mtgvault.com/kjsj3/decks/legacy-infect/)? How often do you find yourself needing land?
