Deck discussion for Total Domination

You really fell in love with these 3 cards... :) ...now, lets make a stabil deck out of these, where you don't need the combo to win...

I'll Ponder on that myselfe.......

Tomarow is FNM & I haven't decided yet wich deck to bring, but I have 2 in mind... ...I'd like to know wich 1 would you pick...

Bant control: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/armada-sent-back-to-aether/

Jund midrange - control: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/consume-the-heroes/

It's a tough choice. I think the Jund would have a better chance late game against more matchups.

I kinda' thought the same... ...thanks for stabilesing my choise!..

I'll go with the Jund tomarow & I'll give the Bant to 1 of my friends... ...it will be interesting, if we match up against each other, because the when we tested these 2 decks against each other, it wasn't clear wich beats wich most of the time... ...mass removal ain't good against this Jund, but AEtherling gives it a hard time & after sideboarding with both decks, Bant comes up on top more times, than the Jund... ...tomarow will be a fine competetion :) ...it's been a while since I've played, especially in my local shop wich is my favorite ever... ...they don't expect my comeback, only a few knowes :)

I'm excited, finally I have time for this...

Cyclonic rift, Omenspeaker and Bramblecrush would be helpful in the bant. I think the jund deck could handle agro decks and slowly wear out control. Also the enchantment destruction would kill burning earth combo decks.

A friend of mine is using my 4c deck this FNM.

Jund did well... :)

Bant as well... ...my friend finished 4th & I finished 1st :)

Another friend of mine toke my USA control deck("Medomai's Revelation") & finished 2nd place at another store...

The Bant struggles against good midrange decks, the Jund is not good enough without sideboard against well crafted control decks... ...& my friend said, that the USA control deck usually delivers, but it's anyone's match against strong midrange & control decks.......

Anywayes, Jund indured the test... :)

How was it with your friend & deck? :)

He edited the deck before the tournament so it wasn't the exact deck list that I have up. From what I last heard, my deck didn't like him and he didn't make it into the top.

Thanks! :)

I have a friend who alwayes have bad luck with certain types of decks :) ...it's like he cannot draw with them.......

...is there really a skill how to draw a starting hand?? :)

I alwayes kinda' feel the elements of the deck I'm playing, so it's might be that why they never betray me... :)

Each player has his or her own style and (hopefully) understands the deck that he or she is playing. If you know the deck well enough, you should be able to know what to keep against your opponent (if you know what they are playing) and you should be able to decide on if your opening hand is worth keeping.
As for skill with drawing a good starting hand, I'm unsure (hopefully you and your opponent are not stacking decks).

LMAO it's funny that PoetMaster-X can't spell. Quite the oxymoron if I've ever seen one lol.

Wafflebot... ...my toung is not english & I speak 8 languages, so forgive me, if my spelling is off sometimes... ...still, I probably speak your mother's language better than you...

Your statement is irrelavent... ...this is a site of MTG deck building & not a place for criticizing each other's grammar...

It's funny how people think that everyone on this site is English or American... ...you know, that MTG is popular all around the globe, right?.. :)

There are a lot of combos with those 3/4 cards (depending on the colors run).

Pretty much and overall it is extremely interisting. You have caught my attention. I think a RUG deck would love these combos a lot!

Infinite Mana Volcanic Geyser or Mind Grind for game.

I don't think you understand the combo. You need to untap the elite arcanist and a mana producing creature to be able to infinite combo those 2 with triton tactics. Therefore, you need to use the ONE mana the creature produces to continuously tap and untap those 2 creatures. The only infinites would be if you had a guttersnipe where casting an instant or sorcery would deal dmg to an opponent or having a young pyromancer to create infinity 1/1 elemental tokens. The other options is using zhur-taa druid to tap and deal 1 dmg each time you tap the creature for its mana.

Acolyte adds mana equal to devotion, so as long as I have 1 other green permanent, the combo works.
