Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Warden of the Eye- A Mnemonic Wall that can attack! Combo makers everywhere rejoice!

The deck is built around Warden of the Eye and either Fated Infatuation or Twinflame. Each time you cast one of these targeting Warden, you get your card back immediately. With Fated Infatuation, you get permanent copies and either instant speed or scry, and with Twinflame you can make copies of Warden of the Eye (and possibly something else) for cheap with haste! Either way, you're going to get all the 3/3s your mana can buy!

The deck also features a Taigam's Scheming/Steam Augury/Dig through Time package to draw and discard to exactly what you need. In addition, these cards synergize well with Warden of the Eye, since you can pick up whatever you discarded later!

BTW you can actually turn on Keranos in this deck, unlike most decks that feature him. (This can be a bad thing in the face of exile creature removal, but mostly is a good thing because 6/5 indestuctibles are generally considered good)

Finally, the deck can transform into a more burn/tempo based build out of the sideboard with Stoke the Flames and Mantis Rider if that's what the matchup calls for.

On infinite combos:
This deck is very live to become a true infinite combo deck if they print the right things in the next set. Anything that lets your creatures tap for mana until the end of the turn would turn Jeskai Ascendancy on with Fated Infatuation/Twinflame and Warden of the Eye. This seems unlikely to me though, as a card like that would enable the other Jeskai Ascendancy decks to play better creatures and potentially become too good. It also sounds like a very abusable card that could enable bad things in Modern and Legacy too.

The deck could actually include an infinite combo right now if it had Nykthos and splashed green for Kiora's Follower. As soon as the deck got to 7 red devotion (tricky to do without copying Warden of the Eye 7 times anyways) the player could use Nykthos, Kiora's Follower, Twinflame, and Warden of the Eye to Twinflame Kiora's Follower and Warden of the Eye infinite times, untapping Nykthos each time. But that's pretty hard to pull off, and mostly winmore with 7 3/3s already in play. However I mention it because if they print something like Zealous Conscripts or any red creature that untaps permanents upon entering the battlefield, the combo could become viable.
