It's expensive so it's most likely a drop but Dismiss into Dream... not really a name a card but I've used in the past to twist up aura and heroic decks.

Other then that... Conundrum Sphinx, Council of Absolute, Counterbore, Dichotomancy, Grimoire Thief, Isperia the Inscrutable, and Mimeofacture. Some of those are expensive as well but in the right deck they can work wonders.

The two Liliana of the Veil are what is driving the price. The two of them are nearly $100 bucks alone.

I was thinking about switching out the specter but I like the shade. It's an early mana miner just in case I don't draw dark realms. I'm going to have to tweak the mana a bit probably but for now it should be fine.

Ah, yeah a budget... that kept me from using Cavern of Souls in my Vampire deck...

Why not use Liliana's Specter? It costs three and makes all opponents discard. And Liliana's Caress as a switch out for Megrim, it does the same thing but costs one less mana.

If you wouldn't mind give http://www.mtgvault.com/knightofdisorder/decks/rule-of-liliana/ a look will you.

Yeah, I run a deck built around two Butchers though. Using Slum Reaper and Grave Betrayal. It's most just to combat one of my friends elf token deck. Killing Wave with a butcher or two on the field.

Anyway, it seems nice.

I was going to suggest Butcher of Malakir but he's to expensive for this deck considering his power.

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. CMC of four with huge life gain potential and populate for three.
Evangel of Heliod. White devotion token summoner.

If you are using Trostani then Ajani, the Pride Caller is a nice addition.

I dropped in some Cremates... single and they let me exile a creature from a graveyard. I'll give Sign in Blood a look, I think I have a couple already so it'll make building the deck easier.

What about read the bones? It lets me Scry 2 before drawing two and only costs one additional mana. I might use both if I can get my hands on them. Depends on how it turns out.

I edited it a bit, it still averages less then ~$50 but meh. I pulled the mana curve down. There are only six cards that out right cost more then three. What cards would you suggest for speeding up the draw? Most of the black cards that I've seen for drawing hurt in the life department.

Yeah, Stromkirk is Sideboarded for a reason. I'll give it a look like I said. Nighthawk is probably going to find it's way in there at some point.

I was thinking of changing the LD out with some burn cards, or spot removal to help speed along the damage dealing. As for vampire nighthawk... it's a good card but I was slimming it down to just the ones that make themselves stronger. I'll take a look at a few of the other options for vampires and see what I can swap out unless you have suggestions.

Give this a look for me. I changed it up a bit since I looked at yours but I like it. It still needs some work though.

I'll post it up later today if I get the chance. If not today then tomorrow.

Hmm, I'd have to play it to really see how it would turn out. But it seems solid.

Rakdos Carnium would be nice, you could swap it in place of those Cavern of Skulls. It taps for a Red and Black instead of either or. Other then that, what's the main mechanic?

The G/W works pretty good, but it's slow for a token deck.

I actually have one of each of those at the moment. I have to get my girlfriend to trade me some G/B cards to make it better but overall it's not bad. I've not tested the G/W.

I'm trying to get everything together to build the Vampires of Rakdos deck.... it's not easy since most of the cards are older and most of the people I know who play either didn't play or just don't have them. The only standard deck I have on here that I want to build is Burning Plains, but I'm not sure how well it'll play since I haven't had a chance to proxy it yet.

I don't run mono decks... I tired a mono green but I don't have the specific cards I want for it.
