Deck Description

This deck is a mono black build that wreaks hell in legacy format. It contains a great deal on control effects and burn effects. The goal of this build is to agonize the game to a point where you can drain they opponents life with consume spirit with maximum mana efficiency.
Note: This deck will be even more malicious with the release of the new Cabal Coffer effect to be released in Zendikar. The card is on the spoiler page on www.magicthegathering.com . If it is used then this deck has a great deal more stopping power than previously know. This deck is a fun build for now.

I am always free to new ideas. Please send your feedback

Deck discussion for Black as Night

whats up my man, im a lil confused as to the purpose of nyxathid in this deck, it seems to me that u have included some draw power and spells that u wish to hang onto in your hand. both of these things(about 16 or so cards in here) r no good when put in the same deck as nyxathid. also i dont really c any good mana buildup for hte consume spirit 1 shot blast u mentioned in the description other than cabal coffers. i would suggest adding Extraplanar Lens for some serius mana building effects. but perhaps im missing something. can u map out y nyxathid is in here and a more indepth focus of this deck.

also chrome mox could be improved on quite a bit, u have to give up one of your cards to use it, so it clashes with ur slight drawing theme and there r better alternatives out there

Agreed, I think that rather cards like sign in blood and profane command as a more stable alternative. Thanks.
