Deck Description

Exiling control with a couple win cons. I'm not sure if it will have enough gas though for control in modern.

How to Play

Start by trying to control the opponents hand then move to their board state and lastly take straight from their library and if you can use their spells all the better.

Deck discussion for Modern Exile Control

its a good list. i think you could cut the dissapates for mana leaks, they are alot better in the format. for creatures i would just run batterskulls and more creeping tar pit. you dont want creatures that die easy in modern. but its a very good start keep toying with it

Well early I try to just disrupt the opponents hand so that's why I didn't go mana leak. If I've pulled their hand apart already they might easily pay that extra 3. I wasn't too worried about my creatures as worst case I win through exiling/control. This deck is meant to slow the game a lot more than the majority of modern decks care to see.

i like the hand disruption, but modern has alot of board clears, and alot of card draw effects to find their threats. if you want to be a control style deck you need 4-8 actual threats, so make them count. you can run remand, cryptic command, dissolve, mana leak, spell peirce. but i think thats the way to roll. count ashiok as threats #1 and #2. i would keep tidehollow sculler, but the rest do not have enough utility to make up for their fragile toughness. they die to bolt, and dont do enough to make up for the 1-for-1

What card draw are people using? Treasure cruise and scry this deck seems to mess with considering top deck exiling and exile in general to stop delve. I feel ok with a bolt hitting my creatures if they get it off as I've noticed people don't feel like the value is there and usually save it a few turns but I'll def take those ideas into account when testing here thanks!

I originally thought a Karn but I just don't know about a 7cost guy here. Wealth is def a threat too!

i see serum visions, sleight of hand, faithless looting, wall of omens, cryptic command, dig through time. i dont think your deck is in a bad place it just stinks when you play the tron or scapeshift guy who mainboards anger of the gods

Yeah but I'm not counting on my creatures for the win nessasarly. I am thinking I'll try remand over dissolve that seems good here.
