I would highly recommend crypt incursion. It could help you survive against fast aggro deck, as long as you mill them a little.

Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker would fit nicely there. You could take out 2x Phenax for them, since he is legendary, drawing more than one would be bad.
Also, Mind Sculpt, Tome Scour and Breaking // Entering could provide some very mana efficient milling.

Yeah... I see your point...
I don't play in a competitive enviroment right now... mostly kitchen table magic with some friends... But I'm trying to build a strong deck to play during FNM at the closest magic reseller store (that's why I'm getting new cards and such).
I do own 4 Tome Scour and will playtest with them when the rest of the cards I ordered arrive.
Thanks for the tips =)

I don't have it either =p (not yet anyways... Just ordered it, and is going to take a while to arrive).
But the Thought Scour can be a life saver... Say you are almost dying and you have a Thought Scour in your hand, and draw into a Noxious Revival, you can either get a Crypt Incursion, or finish the opponent of by replaying a Glimpse the Unthinkable for instance (which can be there because of a earlier play or the mesmeric orb).
It may not mill the most, but it adds a great utility to the deck, specially if you can choose what you'll draw.

Have you considered Boneyard Wurm, Gnaw to the Bone or Deranged Assistant?
They fit perfectly in the theme.

Nice deck dude =)
How about mesmeric orb in the sideboard against aggro decks?
And you could replace 2 islands for Oboro, Palace in the Clouds. Shame it's a legendary land, so you can have more than 1 of it in the battlefield, but they go great with the hedron crabs. You'll have a land to play every turn!

I did actually, but I'm trying to keep this on a budget as I intend to buy it, and archive trap is kinda expensive (I live abroad, and the sites that I buy cards from are quite limited... =/)
But I was considering Oboro, Palace in the Clouds, for a mean combo with hedron Crab.... But again, the card price is a limiting factor... =/
But thanks for the sugestions, This is my first effort to make a mill deck, and I'm loving the ideia =p

Looking good =)
But why not The Rack instead of Quest for the Nihil Stone?
In my experience, Nihil Stone is only good if it comes in the opening hand or in the very firsts hands... If you get it after the enemy's hand get empty, it's very difficult to get the 2 counters on it, since he'll probably play the cards has he gets then, or you'll have no means to make him discard... The rack on the other hand, it's always useful.

Yeah, that's true... I put the Wall thinking about when the ajani's pridemate where strong enough... But I guess that by then the game would be already over... I think I'll trade then by the Loxodon Warhammer
As for the Knight of Meadowgrain, they would be nice, But I don't know what to move to accommodate him... I'll put him in the sideboard while I wait for an epiphany =p

Dryad Militant is a nice card... I'll replace it by the 4x Elite Vanguard I had in the sideboard,
Soldier of the Pantheon is a great card... I wish I could have it in the deck... but it's price is quite high, making it restrictive for the budget deck I'm trying to make...
Brave the elements is a great card, that I've been using in other decks, I guess I forgot to add it here =P
Guardians' Pledge is also nice, I don't know what to take out to add it... Ideally it would be honor of the pure... but again the price is restrictive...
As for the ballyrush banneret... I don't know... It helps if he comes in the opening hand, but it cat get in the way later, when I have tons of lands... And since I don't have any high cost card, I know sure if I should add it or not... But I'll put in the sideboard so I can test it.
Thanks a lot for the input =)

Have you considered Veteran's Armaments?

You should trade Oona's blackguard for temple bell, for when the opponent hand is empty (so you can still get counter's on nihil stone and dmg with liliana's caress).
Also, Guul Draz Specter and Nyxathid would be really useful.

The name of the land is Misty rainforest, but I'm not using dual lands because I'm trying to make a budget deck, and almost all the dual lands are very expensive... =P
Giant Growth is in the sideboard to make this deck legal in modern if necessary.
Thanks for the tips

Nice deck dude =)
I'm trying to build my own vamp deck, so i've been checking out others vamps decks out there... =)
By the way, have you considered trade Go for the Throat for Feast of Blood?
Cost the same as go for the throat, can kill artifact creatures and you gain 4 life =)
the only restriction is that you must have 2 or more vamps in game, which you'll always have anyway =p

Nice deck dude =)
I'm trying to build a vampire deck myself... And i've found 1 cards that you may find useful...
Blade of the Bloodchief is a nice an cheap equipment for vamps and Feast of Blood is a great removal, not only it kill any creature for 2 mana, but it also gives you 4 life =)
also, have you consider adding dark ritual and some cost 1 vamps, like Pulse Tracker or Guul Draz Vampire? for some turn 1 caos? =p
I'm just beginning to gather some ideas for my vamp deck, but any suggestions would be appreciated =)
