Holy Day is tons cheaper, but not in standard. And with all of the Exalted going around, you'll have a lot of untapped creatures left to defend. If you can manage to throw down a Harmless Assault, you can kill off a few attacking creatures without fear of losing some of your own. Also, Elfhame palace is nice, but trying to keep this in standard. I could use Stirring Wildwood, but it's not necessary.

Squadron Hawks are just the normal card to take over for Ranger of Eos, since they assure a creature drop every turn, but I do like Rest in there a little better. Wall of Omens is a great card, and I run it in my Red/White version of this deck that I ran this weekend (Which did not play out too well in my metagame. Ran into 2 Sorin's who right away shot me down out of 30 some life.) In the metagame that I play in, Lone Missionary is a better call over the firewalker, as Red has nearly been cut out of our meta, since no one runs RDW. Elspeth is just too costly for my blood to want to run her in here over Ajani. Ajani is almost just as good, and situationally, he's better for what this deck is supposed to do. Ok, flying is a little better than Vigilance, but he also throws around +1/+1 counters like it's no ones business.
Eh, I'm going to trade him out for Kor Missionary, and create a SB.
Running this as current type 2, so Liliana's are the only viable options.
Kiln Fiend is really a great card. I just wanted to ressurect the old actual creatureless burn. Yes, he would be great to run in here, and have him get huge, but it is kinda against my main purpose in this deck.
Unfortunatly, no.
Yeah, originally, there was a splash of red in here (Brood Birthing and Lightning Bolt), but then I realized that I could do better with just Mono-Green.
Bone splinters was only in there because it's an easy way to get rid of Abyssal. Personally, I like Thought Hemorrhage better than DoJ for a control like this, however, DoJ is easily sideboarded for aggro decks. In all honesty, it would be easier with duals and fetches, so I will be eeking out a better manabase. (However, don't expect Marsh Flats in the deck, I don't have any, and if I were to build this deck as is, I'd need the Persecutors.)
Unfortunatly, the infinate cycle with Pain Magnification+Blightning does not work. Megrim deals 2 damage for each card discarded. Cards are discarded separately, and thus, Megrim never does more than 2 damage in any single instance. Now, if you had a way to make megrim deal double damage, it would work. If you have any more questions about why this doesn't work, feel free to ask.
Check out my Budget Zoo deck, maybe it can help give you a few ideas.
Sideboarded it to switch out for straight-up multiplayer or 2HG. SiB is more for Emperor.
I have a deck similar to this titled "Specter Wrecker", maybe you'd do good to take a look at it and toss around a few ideas.
Relic is because Dredge is particularly over-abundant in the crowd of people that I play Legacy with, and the relic is pretty effective at stopping it.
My bad. It's meant to be a legacy deck, though you're right, you can replace them to make it extended.

I had to change the deck around a bit more, but if you liked the original, all I did was add sylvan ranger in place of Pawn of Ulamog, and Elvish visionary in place of Sign in Blood. Also, added one more forest in place of a swamp to even out the mana ratio.
Thanks. I love the like 4 different ways for the ultimate win con.
Yeah, I read that a while ago and forgot to change that. I realized that Training Grounds won't work on crab umbra, but it still works to reduce the cost of Level Up.
You have to be careful with this. I run a deck very similar to this, and against Jund, the real problem arises with Maelstrom Pulse.
Training Grounds does NOT reduce the cost of Crab Umbra, since the ability is on the enchantment, not the creature.
