I've always liked swan song as a counter-spell! It works very well for your deck when you need to play and sac defense of the heart. I use swan song in my modern cheerios deck, and it is a game winner for me, if they go to counter grapeshot :)
I think this deck looks great! Great mana curve...with the highest being 4, which is want you want for goblins, and you can certainly cast it for 2 with 2 warchiefs out.
Well, I'm glad that it worked for you! I can see the benefit of being able of not only getting rid of the tokens, but any other small creatures/permanents that the opponent has with CMC 2 or less, and getting extra land too. :) I had a similar deck a few years back...but I ran the cards like illness in the ranks and other token weakeners...but it didn't play well
I think illness in the ranks would work better, in my opinion...since it is a continuous thing, vs. the one off with culling ritual

Of course! I get where you are going, and obviously being able to get as much land as possible is great! But with spiders being an aggro deck that revolves around getting as many spiders out as possible for mass damage...running more creatures will only help spider spawning get more spiders and then rotwidow will hit for a lot more. Then craterhoof comes in and buffs your spiders like crazy for an all out attack! Also, heroic intervention is one of the best green cards to run! Gives all your creatures hexproof and indestructible for 2 as an instant. It's a staple in every green deck of mine!
Fun deck! I have a buddy who built a similar deck, and adding craterhoof behemoth is an amazing win-con with it! Why not run more of arachnus spinner? I don't see why you have so many land fetch sorceries...I could understand if you needed it for a landfall ability, but I don't think there is one to put spider tokens into play. Try adding arachneogenesis, new planeswalker Lolth, descendent's path, chainweb arachnir (1 drop), and swarmyard for regenerating some of your best spiders? Just a few suggestions.
blood on the snow is a great card...but definitely hurts decks that run tons of creatures
I like how the deck plays and ondu inversion with ashaya is a great combo to keep your board around!!
Ok, great! That is my only real concern...since extinction event is a stupid powerful card for 4 mana
I think there should be a few more sac outlets, but it looks pretty fun!
