Deck Description

This is a serious, no nonsense Red Deck with a track record of winning game after game!

With plenty of 1 and 2 drops, this deck never runs out of creatures to play.

With Anax, Hardened in the Forge in play, any creatures that die turn into 1/1 Satyr Tokens. Collect an army of Satyrs and then drop Torbran, Thane of Red Fell giving all red sources an extra 2 points of damage.

This turns the 1 free damage ping from Scorch Spitter into 3 points of free burn damage. Stomp now does 4 points of damage. And worst of all, an army of 3/1 Satyr tokens are coming your way shortly.

And just when your opponent is completely crushed and demoralised by the never ending onslaught of red creatures coming his way... BOOM! You flash in an Embercleave and hit him with Double Strike Trample!!

Game over Good Night!

How to Play

Turn 1:
- Play a Mountain
- Play a Scorch Spitter

Turn 2:
- Play a Mountain
- Play Fervent Champion
- Play another Fervent Champion
- Swing in for 6 damage (2 dmg from the Scorch Spitter and 4 damage from the Champions)

Turn 3:
- Play a Mountain
- Play Anax, Hardened in the Forge
- Swing in for another 6 points of damage

Turn 4:
- Play a Mountain
- Play Torbran and swing in for lethal as you're now dealing 18 damage at this point (2 + 2 + 4 + 4 + 10)
- Or don't play Torbran - and instead swing in, and flash in Embercleave onto Anax, Hardened in the Forge. Good night!

Combat Tricks:

- If the Fervent Champions are blocked, they can then deal their first strike damage. Then follow this up with a stomp to deal another 2 damage easily killing 3 toughness creatures
- Cast Rimrock Knight's "Boulder Rush" or Infuriate to deal extra damage in combat - either to the player directly or to a blocking creature to kill it.
- Flash in Embercleave onto your biggest creature to give it +1/+1, Double Strike (!!) and Trample (!!!). This is just killer!
- Activate Castle Embercleave... (cough) sorry Embereth to give all your creatures +1/+0 during combat for some more damage all round.

(Side note: We call Castle Embereth activation "beers!". "I'm activating this land and giving everyone a round of beers! Cheers - by the way, you're dead. Sorry buddy!")

Knights Synergy:

- The Fervent Champions and Rimrock Knights are all Knight creature types. When the Fervent Champions attack, they give another attacking knight +1/+0. This is killer if 2 Fervent Champions are attacking together as they can buff each other.
