Try Fireblast, Incinerate, Chain Lightning, and Furnace Of Rath. These should keep your opponent warm and toasty.
Although I toyed with the idea of getting damage through discard and I tried playing it for a few games with Megrim, it somewhat slowed down the deck's speed. Somebody also brought a spellbook on the table and Megrim immediately went useless. Thanks for sharing your idea.
I was thinking of Essence Harvest versus Drain Life. I decided to go for Drain Life as I think it has versatility over Essence Harvest. Thanks for the suggestion.
I am actually planning to put Sign In Blood there. I built this deck before with The Abyss, Demonic Tutor, Black Vise and Vampiric Tutor before I discovered Teferi's box. Since those cards were banned or restricted for some strange reason I modified the deck a lot. Glad you liked the 2nd version.
