Wild growth is not Modern legal, other than that I prefer lightning bolt just because I want something that is good early game and good late game as well. I'll play test this with rampant growth to see if it works. Thanks for your suggestions! :)

I like it! Do you think Vampire Lacerator would be better than Bloodhusk Ritualist? Other options are Guul Draz Assassin or Pulse Tracker as well.

Some hand disruption might be good in this deck so you can have a target early on for surgical extraction. Also you may also think about running Extirpate in your sideboard so you don't have to deal with pesky counter spells and responses. Lastly, maybe you can run some kill spells, this also gives you targets for your surgical extraction.

The only reason raven's crime is in there is because it's a one drop discard but I feel like in the late game if I have useless land it'll be pretty good.

The reason the Turnabout and Breaking wave is in here is to abuse tap mechanics so by doing so I can untap and tap my merfolk. However, I do like Inundate and Quicksilver fountain I feel like they are pretty awesome. Thanks for the advice!

I was actually thinking about making this deck Esper instead of Grixis, but I found toil//trouble and Stormbreath dragon a lot more powerful. However, I will see how the Eidolon of Rhetoric works and tweak this deck if it works good. Thanks for the comment!

It actually, does. This is another variation of Green/Red Monsters and Ruric thar is just another monster that is equally hard to get rid of and adds pressure to control variance decks. Want to doom blade or Hero's Downfall it? Take 6! Want to Supreme Verdict or D-Sphere it? Take 6! Also, his big body and reach is just icing on the cake.

I suggest decree of pain to replace Incendiary command, unless your trying to go for all the commands. Instead of Exquisite blood, maybe run a prismatic omen. If you can try and get a Mirari's Wake also, it would work well in accelerating your mana. I don't really like Liliana of the Veil since she makes you discard also, I would recommend replacing her with something like a Krosan Grip since you don't really have any enchantment or artifact hate. I would also say run All Suns' Dawn since you are running 5 color. Card's I would also think about adding is Praetor's council and maybe if you want to be a total tool, Door to Nothingness.
