Deck discussion for Ultimate Elf

Ok, elves are my favorites to play. Fast, fun, dangerous, and annoying as all get out if you play them right. You have a decent base but it does need a little tweaking. Crossroads, is great for elves Perfect pick. Now, Fyndhorn, and llanowars, they are kind of useless... Your deck already will ramp like no ones business, so trying to add 1 from each of them aside from turn 2 doesn't serve much purpose. I'd say drop, llanowar for 4 Heedless Ones. And the Fyndhorns for 2 Wild Pair, that way you can drop two of every creature a turn, not just one. All and all it looks like a solid deck, but there can be a couple cards that could throw it over the top. And elvish herder + a Heedless and no one can stop elves. (Well, accept for fog...)

one word, platinum emperion. i know what youre thinking. what are the chances? well, as long as im not playing a life gain deck i pretty much want platinum emperion in it. any fast poison should effectively prevent you from keeping creatures long term . crossroads is a double edged sword and i cant help but feeling that your efforts would be better used making sure you get your staff and kepp it. this deck should runjust a little anti black to stop extinction. despite the rather unattractive tone you took towards my anti elf deck which was only meannt for uncreative elf decks, and has seen resonable success, i hope i was able to point out weak points that you can now patch up. if i was wrong, im sure youll tell me.

One thing you may look into is Mercy Killing--it's a relatively under-used card for elf decks, but is basically a tailor-made Elvish Sword to Plowshares. You can either pump one of your own creatures with Immaculate Magistrate and hit it with MK for a bunch of 1/1s for yourself, or remove a threat, but their 1/1 elves still pump Wellwisher, Priest, (and others like Wirewood Pride and Timberwatch if you want them). I think it's at least worth sideboarding here. If you're interested, take a look at mine here (http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=103549) for possible ideas, or to leave a comment. Thanks!
