Deck discussion for Dimir Mill

More spells, fewer creatures imo.

I'd cut Circu, Dimir Lobotomist, NightVeil Spector, Deathcult Rogue and either Oona, Szadek, or 2 Aberrations .

Sub for Duskmantle Guildmage, Tome Scour, Traumatize and a few lower cost mill like mind sculpt.

I'd bump the cipher card also - not fast enough and dependent upon attacks.

Undead Alchemist is also ridiculous thanks to his passive ability - makes the need for creatures less important.

Of course Jace, Memory Adept can wreak a lot of havoc, esp if you can trigger his zero ability with the Duskmantle Guildmage.

I like Circu too much to take him out lol. I love undead alchemist and the other low cast cards you suggested, great ideas! Trying to do this deck without jayce, seeing as how its just too easy at that point lol thanks for the help!

Do me a favor and check this deck out:

I'm looking at upgrading it from Pauper to prince and need some good bounce ideas. Already planning a closet and thinking about a few others - definitely keeping the Stonehorn dignitary, though.

heh, yeah - me and a buddy made mill decks to play against each-other - I thought I had him with the Jace Duskmantle combo and he came out with the alchemist a turn ahead of me - just destroyed me. Elite Alchemist is another good one.

No kidding, and while im here, what is pauper and prince? have yet to hear those terms lol. and i looked at your deck, how about champion of the parish if hes common? he doesnt have any abilities, but i think most of the rest of your creatures were humans right? hed be buff after a few turns.

A pauper deck is constructed entirely of common cards. It's a fun format to build in because it's cheap & takes some thinking to build synergy. Prince is my way if saying I'm gonna put in a bunch of rares and uncommons. I was thinking about Cathar's Crusade, champion might work but I'm not pure human, which is a little scary.

this is true, but if youre giong to throw in some rares, and im sure youve heard this, conjurers closet.
