Do you like making sure your opponents cannot play spells late game? Do you like making enemies? Do you like being in control? Then playing a Mono Blue EDH general is your thing. my favourite part about Talrand is that your win condition is drakes. Since you don't have any infinite combos, you have more spell slots for counterspells. I feel like this deck needs more card draw, but it seems fine enough. There's always room for improvement.

Hmm. Yeah. Those are fantastic cards. Any suggestions for what I should cut? I'd think I will cut Stoic Rebuttal and Switcheroo, unless you have better suggestions. For now, I'll just cut stoic rebuttal for Back to Basics; though, in my meta, only about a third of the people who I play with would be hurt enough by Back to Basics to change the game (and the vast majority of who I play with is blue, and those who aren't are 2 color voltron or BGW combo/control). I think It'll either turn the table against me or make all the 1-2 color players try to keep me alive as they take advantage of their improved position.
