Grim Lavamancer to make the most of the spells you've used?

So your main problem is that you've got too many high cost cards. You need to have a few 1 and 2 drop cards otherwise you might well lose the game before you get the chance to put down your big hitters.

So for 1 drops you've got Champion of the Parish, maybe Cenn's tactacian. Then for 2 drops you want Precinct Captain. Play around with some ideas and use the 'draw hand' mechanism. If you aren't consistenly able to get creatures down on your first 2 turns then you need to add more 1 and 2 drops.

Myr Battleship? I know its a high mana cost but it is the best Myr finisher devised.

I guess my first point of advice is on Legendry creatures. The mainstream thought is that you don't have 4 of them cos you don't want to be left with a handful of them however if you only have one then you are unlikely to see it all game as most aggro decks (which this is) wants to be over in as few turns as possible. Therefore I would increase the numbers of your legendries, you'r two brothers I would take 4 of as you can play 2 of them anyway!

Argentum Armour is a great card but the fact that it costs 6 mana to play makes it an unusual choice for an aggro deck as most of the time you want the game over by then so I would consider losing them (Just as a general rule when I'm playing aggro I very rarely use a card with a mana cost more than 4).

80% of the cards in this deck are white I'd reflect that more in my mana and if you ca I'd replace the gates (which slow you down as they come in to play tapped) with one of the more expensive lands. Think Clifftop Retreat or Sacred Foundry.

Also you want to get this deck down to 60 cards!

Maybe Grim Lavamancher to make use of all those spells sitting in you're graveyard?

Personally I'd have another 1 drop creature-probably Boros Elite, probably over Skynight and first blade who I don't rate that highly. The only card in your deck which isn't standard legal in Lightning Helix, I'm wondering whether that is deliberate or whether you want to build a standard deck.

At this time the alternatives to Helix in standard are either Searing Spear (which I use) or Pillar of Flame.

Fair enough, I normally build for 1v1 and then put late game choices in my side deck.

Ah, missed that, Chalice of life/death is still a must have though. It's the best win con for life gain in standard.

Try Felidar Soverign and Chalice of Life/Death.

Here's my white life gain deck if you're interested: http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/modern-life-gain-2/

Champion of the Parish maybe?

Also Cavern of Soul's if you've got the cash.

They've been clever, after Bolt rotated out we all complained about Shock, after a season of Searing Spear/Pillar of Flame we're all desperate to have Shock back.

Haha, so did I first time round. I can't wait to have shock back in M14.

No.

Skullcrack can't target creatures so if there is a particularly annoying ability on the field it still doesn't allow you to kill it which was the entire point of suggesting it in the first place.

I'd add in Searing Spear to help you deal with aggro creatures until you can get your bi guys down.

Yeah I agree with d3 about R/W human that happens to have Boros in. Champion is a 4 of every time. I wouldn't put in Kargan as you want to be getting creatures down every time not spending mana leveling up cards.

This is my extended Humam Boros deck if you wanna take a look: http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/extended-boros-human/

And I think the cards I suggested instead of your allies fit your white weenie theme and have better synergy with the other cards in your deck.

I don't think Gather The Townsfolk fits this theme. Also not sure if you have enough allies to make the ones you do have worth having. Personally I'd add Champion of the Parish as he is a soldier but you also have a lot of humans. Also think Precinct Captain fits nicely in to the deck and its curve. I'd also have another Odric and Captain as your chances of pulling either of them is very slim!

Not sure where I'd fit it in but I second Intangible virtue and also suggest Thraben Doomslayer!
