What about Bloodbaron? He's super powerful in this sort of deck, and gets +6/+6 and flying if you have above 30 life

*AND an opponent has less than 10 life. Not a major requirement, but more than one requirement makes in less useful.

Its still a stunning card without the pump, he's just a crazy killing machine!

"stunning" might be a reach. hes only good in the current standard because he fits between the cracks of the removal suites. modern offers SO many ways to easily deal with him. a good card? yes. "stunning"? eh...probably not

Agreed blood baron is a bad magic card that has a niche home in standard due to the meta.

Bloodbaron is a great card, but doesn't fit in this deck. Ty, tho

People give you negative comments for throwing in the suggestion to look at your deck, mwahahaha. That is funny. They will probably do that to me too. lol

Yes they will, its really not cool, people will look at your deck if it is good and has a cool name, like Oppa Jundam Style or Don't touch my weenie.

Buddy Lands are the lands that come into play tapped unless you control a Basic land type that shares a color with it., IE: Drownd Catacombs taps for both black and blue, but comes into play tapped unless you have a swamp or island (or dual land with those types, like Watery Grave), Hence, the land needs a "buddy" to bring it in untapped.

Fetchlands are expensive for a reason - they've held their value out of Standard and into deeper formats. They're a staple in Modern because of the good things they do. Best to sit on a paycheck for awhile and acquire (at least) 4 x Marsh Flats. Otherwise, very, VERY solid spell and creature base. Contemplate acquiring Path to Exile, Spell Pierce and Snapcaster Mage as well. This ain't gonna be cheap if you want it to be good. After all, they say Modern is the poor man's Legacy. I'd know. I'm broke as crap.

Modern is a stand alone format...Pauper is the Poor Man's Legacy.

but yeah, Fetch lands help smooth out your mana base and allow you to run fewer lands and more good stuff.

I like your view, but fetchs are really, really expensive, and, having 23 real lands will make this deck less vulnerable to land destruction. (=

Certainly. Good decks and cheap decks rarely are one and the same in this format. Put a couple years' work into this thing. It'll really kick some ass once you get a hold of some format staples.

Why not use path? It is the best removal in the format and second only to swords to plowshares for all time best removal. In addition, thought seize might also find a good home here and if you do get the sac lands death right shaman is almost required.
