While looking through cards for my air cavalry white soldiers deck, I came across a lot of angels and thought it would be fun to build something around them, but with more of a "fire and brimstone" aggressive theme. It also was a good excuse to bring evil Bruna and Gisela into action, since I never really played with any of the meld cards but they look so awesome on the table.
Angels tend to be fairly impressive creatures with strong stats and abilities, but that comes with a high mana cost. I try to offset this with strong 1- and 2-drop creatures and low cost instant damage. Boros Elite might be my favorite cheap white creature with Doomed Traveler a close second. Since there is a little bit of life gain in this deck, Lone Rider has potential to transform early after an attack and a shot of Lightning Helix, and becomes very powerful for only costing 2. There are a lot of good cheap red creatures available as well, I just have not looked through what I have to see what fits my theme. Of course, the main objective is to stay alive long enough to unleash Brisela on to the battlefield. I wish white had more options for mana production, and I am very tempted to run a couple Extraplanar Lens, but I hate using valuable cards in "just for fun" decks.
