If you add a kilnmouth dragon you could then tap the your infintely powerful ooze for direct damage.

Bloodline keeper is in here because when both it and grimgrin are in the graveyard, you can tap to ooze to create a token vamp, sac the token vamp to put a +1/+1 counter on ooze and untap it, then do it over again and over again. Infinitely powerful ooze.

Not sure if you still use this deck, but if you do what about Puresteel Paladin?

Hey, I have a very similar deck, or at least a similar idea. Please let me know what you think. :)

Hey, how has this deck worked for you? I have something similar here: Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=251598 I was looking at putting a General's Kabuto or 2 in there, what do you think?

I might add Drift of the Phantasms, or some other defender, just to increase you livability. :)

Standstill, while cool in some decks, just doesn't really fit in this one. I would definitely buy Isochron Scepter it is crazy useful. I personally think this deck needs just a little more burn/defense. Maybe there is a high toughness fairy you can include? Or another burn spell, Magma Jet is my personal favorite for these situations. Or Gelectrode can be an easy way of burning high toughness creatures, particularly when paired with the Scepter. Anyways, just some ideas.

I like too add a few training grounds, personally. Training Grounds lets you copy spells with Guild mages effect for 1 mana instead of three. That makes things a whole lot different. With 7 mana on the field, a the lava spike would kill your opponent without the desperate ritual.

Lava spike is an arcane. This lets you combine lava spike and desperate ritual, and copy them both for one price. You can then copy them again and again and again with the mana from desperate ritual, doing three damage every time you copy them together. Very effective.

Ok, I have been working to hone a deck that is also red/blue and here are my thoughts. Personally, I think that, while a nice thought, Avalanch riders, might be too expensive for your purposes. However, I think that that is an opportunity. I would add another on of those destroy target land spells, and up the spell to creature ratio. That might increase the effectiveness of galvanoth.

Wow, I can see how this would be super effective. Little thought, have you considered adding something like: Telemin Performance + Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur? Yes every now and then you would draw jin and be screwed, and just have to do things the old fashion way, but facing an opponent with no hand might make this deck even more reliable.
