wildwood rebirth will let you bring the creatures back to your hand. disentomb sadly is now in extended. I would add in putrefy to kill more creatures but that's just me.

I like it.

Don't forger about auriok edgewright. Another very sick thing to do is add grafted exoskeleton and lost leonin. Use the infect ability. If you go that route think about the horned helm which adds trample and is really cheap. And get more steelshapers!!!!
Side note if you add sunspear shikari, he gets life link when equipped. then you can focus on cheaper or wilder equipments if you have a potential life gain in the deck.

I have played this deck type for a long time and the real key to winning is first strike. It will make or break this kind of deck. at least in my experience. The infect ability gives you another big advantage.

good use of theros in the golgari guild. I see you moved away from the scavenge ability and focused primarily on creatures with power/toughness based off the number in the graveyard. I thought of doing that as well, so its a logical step in that direction. I still can't tear myself away from the scavenge and bloodrush combo and using wildwood rebirth and disentomb. At least I can look at yours to get an idea of where to go if and when I switch strategies. Cheers.

Yeah that is definitely the downside of using it. The creatures that you have all seem to have a significant reason for being there. I have used it as a last chance card, in case nothing is working out or if I am casting a direct damage spell or a battlefield reset, in which many permanents will be lost. It really just depends on what you want to do with the deck.

I really like this guild, it can deal so much pain. Myself, and this is just me talking, I concentrate my fire into attack and defense be damned. Example, unleash the creatures with the +1/+1 counters and direct damage spells. I like the instant/sorcery spell that boost your creatures, thats really cool.
I would maybe lose the enchantments for the creatures, yours or opponents. Those are usually reserved for weenie creatures or enchantment decks. Rakdos is all about pain and damage, haste and unleash. For me using enchantments like that slows down the damage. All your opponet s going to do is throw those creatures right under your next attack wave. Yeah you get a couple damage done but putting out more creatures to me is more important.
I love those enchants and I use them in rat decks, goblin decks or discard/control type decks. They have such a greater impact there because a good defense is crucial. That should be used to slow opponents attacks or make them take damage for doing nothing like stab wound (love it).
Rakdos works so much better with no defense/control what-so-ever but a straight forward quick assault.

If you play this with a self mill, it allows you to use the scavenge ability a lot more. Grisly salvage, drown in filth are good. However there are drawbacks but you already have treasured find, then just add disentomb or wildwood rebirth just in case you actually need that creature back on the field. I was using altars reap in my version of golgari and it is not a bad idea. I am working on a second version of golgari that still uses altars reap but concentrates on deathtouch abilities by using deadly allure. Such a fun guild that really makes you think and use the imagination.

there is wear/tear, which is anti artifact and enchantment. white can take out enchants and red handles artifacts, so good ideas for sideboards. viashino firstblade and skyknight legionnaire are 3 casting cost and have haste. always good to have. and red has traitorous blood and act of treason which take opponents creatures for a turn. I like using those. if you used the legionnaire who has flying you could lose a creature and an instant that makes flying out of your deck and add another direct damage or anti artifact/anti enchant spell. take out Armageddon and put in spells that steal creatures the opponent controls. you might enjoy the change of pace.

You should add in some more creatures, since you are basically doing a reanimator deck. I have one you can check out its call Dr. Herbert West. Recurring nightmare and victimize are really good. I shall add those to my reanimator deck.
In this type of deck you can get really creative with nasty creatures. In mine I don't even use black creatures since they get put into play from the graveyard.

I have a goblin deck of a similar name. Never realized how many choice goblins for black there were, till I see them all together like that. Good stuff.

Disciples of the vault are so sneaky. No one ever expects that artifact sacrifice will get so out of control.
