Looked at a number of Puresteel decks recently and still don't think people are "getting it". Puresteel Paladin's greatest ability is not the free shifting of equipment from point to point. Quite simply it's the card advantage and speed of the deck. I've done some work on the deck to speed it up and give it more consistency. IT WORKS! The living equipment/Glint Hawk/Kor Skyfisher combo means that you can regularly bounce and replay the living weapons. This makes them perfect chump blockers early game and sack to kill with the Basilisk Collar/Mortarpod combo any creature not indestructible. The Blade of the Bloodchief works great with the Mortarpod/Basilisk Collar sack and burn as each time you do it you get two +1/+1 counters. Again think: card advantage, card advantage, card advantage.Get it? First tournament I played with this deck I won. In the process I beat a CawBlade deck and a Tempered Steel deck. I lost one hand to each because of mana problems (one too much and the other too little). I will update on future developments...
