The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

My first attempt at a full colorless eldrazi deck. I had 4 sol rings, but removed 3 to keep it somewhat fair. Going to be removing eternity vessel (Conflicts w/Platinum Emperion) and possibly the mirrorworks. Looking for suggestions to that end, as well as possible alternatives to Ulamog's Crusher

How to Play

Use the expedition maps to get Eye of Ugin and any of the urza trio you need for the colorless. Eye of ugin can quickly help get creatures that you need for specific opponents (Silent Arbiter is good vs elf and token decks, platinum emperion and witchbane orb are good for burn decks, etc). That which was Taken helps to fortify your cards, and Not of this World protects from any really catastrophic spells.

Deck discussion for Colorless Eldrazi

And all of a sudden, Creeping Corrosion wipes the field! There are too many decks that wipe artifacts & creatures from the field.

You need some indestructibility. There are better ways to do it with the endless Myr mana combo. There are other combos to abuse as well.

If you're going to rely on artifacts this deeply, some cards you should consider are: Darksteel Forge, Kudoltha Forgemaster, Mirrorworks, Sculpting Steel, Unwinding Clock, Voltaic Key.

I recommend you add Thopter Assembly and Wurmcoil Engine to stall for more time as well. Thopter gives you more creatures and Wurmcoil has lifelink deathtouch and spawns on death.

That's what That which was Taken is for. By the time the field would be wiped, I usually have that out. Also, I don't have the endless myr combo at the moment. Not fond of it.

Might put darksteel forge up instead of Deathrender. Not a bad idea. Kuldotha forgemaster is an unnecessary sacrifice when I've got Skyship Weatherlight helping me out. Mirrorworks could be a solid replacement for one of the voltaic keys or spawnsire.

As for stalling, I'm thinking about adding an eternity vessel for mid-game saves. The Silent Arbiter and platinum emperion keep me alive just fine. Might add the wurmcoil engine into a side deck, along with a couple of other cards for when I face off against other colorless/artifact decks though. Thanks!

I agree on the Vesuva end-It's one of the spendy lands though, and while helpful, not a necessity at this point.

Nice deck ! I have always wanted to make an Eldrazi deck but they are super expensive. Do you have this deck in real life ?

I do have this deck in real life, and it actually cost a good deal more with the trial-and-error of figuring out what does and doesn't work (manakin, metalworker, excess eyes of ugin, eldrazi temples, etc). So far though, the finalized version has won every set (2/3) that I've played. If you don't mind a lack of legality, replace the mana vault, mirrorworks and eternity vessel with 3x sol ring. Works much better. If you draw a sample hand, any opening hand with 1-2 mana acceleration cards, an expedition map/eye of ugin, or a skyship weatherlight is basically a solid bet to win. Once you can use the skyship, or start getting creatures with the eye (usually by turn 2-3), you're pretty much set to win.

At this point, the only thing I really want to fix is finding something better for the deck than the spawnsire. Switched it out for the Ulamog's Crusher for now, since It doesn't have a lot of lower cost creatures, but meh.

Yea, trial and error of buying cards is rough lol. Sure but it helps build a collection and you get to use them for other decks later :p.

You removed Sol Rings to make it fair? Why? I would keep them in to make this deck as fast as I could. Now with Eternity Vessel and Everflowing Chalice I would add Tezzeret's Gambit doubling up counters and being able to draw two cards is always nice. Plus, have you thought about Platinum Angel over Platinum Emperion or just sideboarding it because there is much more to winning then loss of life, and being colorless mostly Mox Opal are great but, a little bit expensive in price.

Oh don't get me wrong, the deck worked GREAT with the 4 sol rings. But it's just like having 4 of the demonic tutors...works great, sure, but it feels cheap when I'm playing against people who at least follow the vintage format.
