I'd be the kind of person to put in Braingeyser or Blue Sun's Zenith and force them to draw infinite cards.

Sure, you can make gratuitous amounts of mana, but what is the purpose except to make lots of lots of mana? It would sure be a shame if your one arbalest got hit with a naturalize.

Ha. I just posted my revised Standard version of this.

You may want to look at cards like Mask of Law and Grace, Shield of Duty and Reason, Rancor, One with Nature, Crystallization, Wheel of Sun and Moon, Bequeathal, Keen Sense, Flickering Ward, or Daily Regimen. They have really cheap mana costs and go well with this type of deck.

I'm having a difficult choice between Iona, Shield of Emeria, Reya Dawnbringer, and Akroma, Angel of Wrath.

Rite of Flame mana acceleration.

If you're using snow lands, Skred deals more damage than Electrostatic Bolt by the time Stuffy Doll can be a target.

Also, other good combos with Stuffy Doll is Magmatic Core with Braids of Fire, and Fatal Attraction and Paradox Haze.

While Cancel gets the job done, Counterspell does it for 1 mana cheaper. Pyromantics is alright, but I'd prefer an extra Lightning Bolt or Incinerate and a few Shock or in there as your Djinn will make these exponentially better late game. Lava Axe is a staple mana per damage sorcery that works with your Fire Servants, but I don't like it enough for a 4 set. Replace one or two for some draw power with Preordain, Ponder, Brainstorm, or what have you. you have far too many red costs than blue, I'd switch out a few Islands for other cards, maybe another Izzet Signet or two and another Boilerworks? With this setup, Chandra Ablaze is better than Chandra Nalar. Although they're nice, I hardly ever like the Leyline of Lightning unless the deck is built completely around it. I'd switch it out for something like Book Burning, Browbeat, or Research // Development.

The original art for Fire Elemental.

It's hot. Get it? Fire? Hot?

I would squeeze in two or three Geth's Verdict. It takes care of those pesky indestructible, pro-black, and/or shroud creatures.

Here's something. Which has more priority? If you make a planeswalker an artifact, then a creature, it would become a 0/0 creature. Without any extra ability giving it +X/+X, would it be removed from the battlefield or would it stay because of loyalty counters? It would meet the requirements for both staying in play and being sent to the graveyard.

Good point. It is a better selection. An even better choice would be Savannah.

I guess I chose Arctic Flats because I wasn't thinking, and that I have like 20 Arctic Flats and I don't want them to feel unused.

Because it's 1997, and there aren't that many other burn spells available yet.

That's actually very good.

Funny thing is that I tend to use Rite of Replication against other players' legendary creatures and game-stopping creatures more often than I ever do copying my own stuff.
