Are you trying to keep this budget?If not you should really reshape this a lot. Starting with what you should drop. Vampire Aristocrat, Sengir Vampire, Child of the Night, and Demons horns, and at least 2 Tendrils of Corruption and bituminous blasts. The Blasts i think should go but cascade is fun and if you want them why not. Id also drop 2 swamps.Black red vampires beg for Olivia Voldaren and Stromkirk Captain. Since this is not standard, Id run some good vampire 1 drops. My favorites are pulse tracker or Vampire Lacerator. All vampire decks need Blade of the Bloodchief since it makes any creature a beast so fast. Id also run Bloodghast cause it is so stupid good. Vampire Nighthawks are a must, id run Bloodline Keepers and Captivating Vampire.When you are adding these cards you really need to keep the deck at 60 cards. Its tempting to go higher but you screw with your probability so much.You can check out mine for some ideas. I don't see why you're using mountains/red at all if you don't have any red vampires in here. It isn't worth it just to run 3 spells in this deck. Yeah, cascade is cool, but not worth your time. And terminate is just silly. Granted, it's a good card, but feast of blood, murder , ultimate price, etc. etc. are suitable replacements that are mono-black.I'd definitely suggest Anowon, the Ruin Sage. He's an awesome creature that'll keep your opponents' creatures in check. Also, Guul Draz Assassin and Nirkana Cutthroat are two of my favorite vampires ever, so give those a look.
yeah, idk. i had had more red stuff in there and i guess i never took the mountains out. I took a break from playing right before zendikar came out and havnt looked at any new cards really. Just made this deck from trading around at the local gathering store. Did you look at my mono red deck? it is alright but it needs some tweaking. And i really appreciate your help. I'm also thinkin about makin an elf deck. so if you have any suggestions
My 2 cents: Olivia Voldaren and Bloodline Keeper should replace Vampire Nocturnus at the 4 drop slot. Stromkirk Noble, Falkenrath Aristocrat are also strong contenders. I like Stromkirk Captain, but I would only play 2 copies. Rakish Heir and Falkenrath Marauders are a bit slow but might be good additions as well.I'd lose the Child of Night, Demonhorn, Kalitus, Bituminous, Dark Ritual, Some of your other scattered removal... Replace them with some speedier cards that will keep the pressure up in the early game and force your opponent to use up their removal.I'd also like 1 or 2 copies of Vampiric Fury, just to keep my opponent sufficiently spooked.
