Going along with the metal craft binge I've been going through, I put together a U/W metal craft with a little bit of Venser. Combine that with stoneforge mystic/wall of omens/sun titans gives a lot of versatility.

good call, i'd overlooked it =D
you need a direct motive, i see lots of equipments but i also see a bunch of control-type cards and giant creatures. you'll run into equipments on the field and giants in your hand and not able to play either. if i were you i'd try and focus on either aggro or control. Also with the lack of restriction on your deck you should be able to turn this into a really fast aggro or a really strong control. but thats imo
what kind of things would you suggest putting in there?
would drop all of the chancellors for starters... they just aren't that good, i would replace them with 4 squadron hawks i'm guessing that you wanna keep venser so i would also drop 1 sun titan, both tezz and 1 venser in favor of 4 etched champions.
i agree. also something you may want to look into is tumble magnet, with Venser is pretty annoying! you could easily make this tournament legal if you're willing to redo the lands and take out the sissy swords!
