That's true hidden strings is quite a bit better
I used manalith and celestial dawn in order to get scion out faster and it seems to work quite consistently just in case you cant get the mana you need right then, i also added in quite a few mana ramp to help get the right mana curve

i would add poliferate as a side board cause you never know what they might have
you might also want to check out vitorocks03 and fisherman's infect decks.
