This deck was thought up in the hope that merging some of the Ixalan block's dino tribal with Selesnya's token-centric playstyle would produce something worthwhile.It's also a work-in-progress, so suggestions are welcome!
As you can probably tell, this deck hopes to get to the stage where one or more 3/3 Trample tokens are in play, at which point the Populate will kick in.Trostani would then become a perpetual lifegain machine (as intended!), while the mixture of Spinebacks and Regisaurs help turn the tokens into bigger threats. Huatli would provide more tokens, and healing/buffing/utility fueled by said tokens.The trick is getting there, which is where the Paths of Discovery, Ranging Raptors and Atzocan Seers come into play. Once there, the mixture of lifegain, explore, token-production and buffing would hopefully be enough to prevail and achieve victory!
