It was about medium. It was able to put out some of the smaller creatures like Bloodsoaked Champion and War-Name Aspirant pretty early, then held off pretty well for the rest of the game. We were playing 2HG, and it was this deck with my B/W Enchantment deck, vs my green elemental deck and another pretty fast green deck. They nearly won the game. We only had one life, and they were at about 57. Luckily, Overwhelming Stampede made it into my hand, with a 24/24 Primalcrux out, and a bunch of other creatures, to win the game.

I designed it for a friend. He wanted a deck based on the four horsemen. The themes are death, pestilence, war, and famine. He bought most of the cards last night, and we threw in a few things to fill what he was missing. It did pretty well. Not the best against aggro decks, but I'm pretty happy with what I've seen.

In many of my decks, I run only 20 land. I have a mono green on here where I only run 17 total land, and that thing slays, especially in terms of mana ramping. I think 22 land is a good number. However, I do think Tormenting Voice would help you tremendously.

Well played, sir. I like how this deck seems to be just a random collection of cards. It's deceptive, so you'll be underestimated. I like it. I would consider sideboarding Negate. If someone happens to have Anger of the Gods, or something of the like, they can wipe out your Sylvan Caryatids, exiling them. Therefore, no real use from Soulflayer, and it will be tougher to generate different colors of mana. Just a thought.

Why not Browbeat?

For now, I grabbed two copies of Mind Grind and Rancor. Thanks a lot for the input.

Why not take out two of the Supreme Exemplar, and toss in Bident of Thassa and/or Coastal Piracy? Fling works very well with this deck, especially with the Flamekin Harbinger + Nova Chaser combo. Play Nova Chaser, champion the Harbinger, Fling Nova Chaser, then get another Nova Chaser on top of your library. You definitely need some card drawing. If you want some quick draw, try Ponder, Preordain, or perhaps Concentrate. Curiosity would work very well, too, and it only costs U.

I really like Mind Grind and Rancor. Good thinking, man. As far as Glimpse the Unthinkable, that would be a perfect card, but it just costs so damn much.

I actually contemplated both of those cards. I feel Damia would cost too much to have as a commander, with zero evasion. As far as Jim Gitaxias, he is amazing, but would make the game less fun. I don't like to shut down the game too much. You know? Thanks for the input, man.

Parallel Lives is too expensive; this deck is budget

Holy hell!!!! That is a dangerous card! What set is that from? I can tell that it is Jeskai, but is that the symbol for the second set of the block?

Yeah. I just noticed that it thinks that Honor of the Pure has a CMC of 4. I don't get how it gets that screwed up.

Oh, and one more thing, with Constable, they don't choose what gets returned; you do. He is one of my favorite cards in Magic.

Jessie, what is your criteria for your Legacy decks? Any particular restrictions? I'd like to help with the budget mono white and red decks.
