Because they are awesome ^^ The idea is to morph him up, then sacrifice him with Homarid Spawning
Okey, but Coat of arms is so slow..
It appears that some people don't understand that this is a joke, don't you get it? It criticizes all awful cards Wizards of The Coast prints, it's like "Who the hell would want to use these cards in any deck, seriously?"
This deck is only made for fun, it sucks ^^ If you check out my other decks, you'll see that I love abilities, finesse and tricks in my decks! If you really want to build a creature based deck, god damnit let there be abilities ! XD
Yeah, that's just plain boring, when you could play vanilla and keep things smooth ;)
Hehe, I dunno if the deck title is supposed to reference to Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino" ^^ Good job anyway!
Yes it's the best homarid tribal I've encountered !
I almost got everything, so no, I don't but I intend to buy it. I think it has potential to win a few games, but it's most for casual play so it's not that hardcore :)
Haha that's a good one!
haha oh yes ! XD
Yes that's the point! Nobody expects that! ;)
Okey then how about you look at the cards? I think the major differences really is that if you look close, you can see that they both have different names, i.a "Hover Myr" and "Storm Crow"
I think what undeadhermit was trying to say is that there are lots of people just posting links to their decks without paying any attention to the deck they're posting commercial on. I see you didn't know this and it's OK, I can explain further about how this work. As said, you use Squadron Hawk equipped with the sword (Sword of body and mind/Feast and famine/ war and peace) To find the swords, you play Stoneforge Mystic, which also allows you to cast it for less mana. Then you add Spell Pierce and Mana Leak for neat control, and preordain to find the hawks faster or anything you want basically. Now this is a mill version, so i run Archive Trap and hedron crab for that purpose. Batterskull is an awesome card that I also have, you could get it out on turn 3, 4/4 Lifegain Vigilance is ace! Hope this helps, you are welcome to follow me and if you have any questions on any of my decks how it works or anything, just ask and I'll answer all of your questions!
I agree, flavour text is awesome!
This ain't miracle grow, where the heck is Quirion Dryad??
Good luck! I know most people think this is a simple deck, but to really be able to play it, you gotta go deeper..
That's really a good advice, I used Bonehoard since it will be enourmous, and Jace as a daw engine for myself only. I can't afford 4 mirran Crusaders so I'll be playin' 2 and 2 Kor Duelist :)Take a look at it now what do you think?
Dude let's make one thing clear; Hovermyr is NOT Storm Crow in any way. Storm Crow is far too ace to be compared to myr!
Well, your argument bursts as a Celestial Colonnade's always enters the battlefield tapped, and still doesn't create multiple landfall. Hedron Crab is way better than tome Scour in my opinion, since you'll playing 1 land each turn, it's always going to mill 3 cards for free, instead of 5 cards for one mana, that's also a card so you can't use it every turn..
