I wish there was a RB horizon land. Any other suggestions?

ended up removing white. I had tried the bomat version and has path in the sideboard but didn't like how it played.

Might I suggest that you replace the frogmites with Master of Etherium. They pump all your other artifact creatures but also represent a potentially massive body for little investment.

First, I've been trying to fit frogmite into modern decks and it hasn't worked. I'd remove frogmite. Next, you need more powerful lands. Glimmervoid is pricy, but if you can work 3 or 4 into your deck you will be glad you did. Lastly, Inkmoth Nexus is a must for quick, cheap kills. If you can trade or buy mox opals, I would run those as well.

Thanks!! I figure the best way to combat the current standard metagame is to put a lot of flexible removal spells in the deck. I don't know why Gaze of Granite is not getting that much attention, because it is insane the way everyone is playing small, fast creatures.

I know we talked about this already, but you definitely need more thragtusk and possibly a few restoration angels main deck. Also, do not forget about centaur healer. otherwise, I am totally digging the spell choices. can you post the red-blue deck you built?

True, I have been playing with the idea of bringing the Mizzium Mortars into the main deck. The Auger Spree is an interesting card, because it can be utilized for both pump and removal. I figure that most of the time it will be a removal spell, but there will be occasions where I am swinging with a pumped LOL troll or a Deadbridge Goliath and take my opponent by surprise. As for Olivia, I watched the Players Championships and saw how absolutely brutal she is against most creatures. That, plus the fact she flies and you have one really good creature that can be absolutely devastating. I figure once Gatecrash comes out I will be able to smooth out the mana base with Stomping grounds, because in reality this deck needs at least two. Until that time, I might need to rely on mulligans to help smooth out awkward opening hands. Thanks for the input and the link.

I would suggest Lord of the Undead. He pumps all your zombies and brings them back from your graveyard. Also, you may want to splash red for Pyre Zombie. He is really good.

I think you should consider starting your creature curve at 1. Otherwise you will never be able to fetch bloodghast or fauna shaman. Also, consider wurmcoil engine and phyrexian metamorph. The engine is a beatstick that you can sack to make wurm tokens and the metamorph is a swiss army knife considering all the things it can copy.
