Deck Description

When I heard second sunrise was banned in modern I was a bit upset. I personally love the deck and the concept even if it does take forever. I am a huge fan of ridiculous and unintuitive combos. So this got me thinking of how you could go ahead and still have the same efficiency as pre banning eggs to a post banning era. Which got me thinking, since the efficiency is based around the ability to combo off I had the feeling the best answer would be more of an ability to get value off of one faith's reward, which thankfully is not banned. So what we have here is a slight shift in mana base and the addition of reverberate. I'm testing to see if this will have any impact or if it will work at all. Aiming for that t3 win baby.

Based off of Stanislav Cifka's decklist from gp san diego.

Deck discussion for Egging Around Bans

before faith's reward was printed eggs was still a deck. it ran 4 second sunrise and 4 noxious revival as a way to get it back. now your just going to have to play 4 faith's reward 4 noxious revival instead. unfortunately the deck loses alot of consistency with this set up.

reverberate and twincast do nothing at all for you, because they can only copy spells on the stack. playing faith's reward twice in a row accomplishes nothing

My idea was that you faiths reward, sac everything, twincast/reverberate, the copy goes off. Sac everything again and then use the original faith's reward. With this setup yeah it loses tons of consistency that I thought the reverberate would help. It didnt. Im probably gonna ditch this idea since someone already "solved" the problem with open the vaults.

open the vaults is even worse than using reclaim/ noxious revival

also your missing why twincast effects dont work.

you play faiths reward-> the spell resolves-> all your artifacts come into play-> you sac them all off, and do your thing-> you play twincast-> there is no spell on the stack, so there is nothing to copy-> twincast fizzles

i meant you played faiths reward, cast twincast, then sac. I know someone, nathan holiday, did this during the san diego gp and it worked because he stacked everything right.
Let me see if I can find the link anywhere. But the list I based this off of is right here.

twincast-
--Use this to copy Sunrise. Even in the original Sunrise is countered, the copy will resolve, unless your opponent has 2 counters.
Against grave hate rocks, when you cast Sunrise and they try to exile your graveyard in response, cast Twincast copying Sunrise so the copy resolves first and your eggs are saved.
The same trick can also be used to double Sunriseā€™s effect. Let the copy resolve. Return your eggs to the battlefield. With Sunrise on the stack, before it resolves, crack all your eggs again, then let Sunrise resolve.
Twincast can turn lethal Banefires and the like back at your opponent. Your copy goes on the stack and resolves before theirs.
