Ideal opening:1. Plains, hopeful Eidolon2. Plains, Ethereal Armor x23. Swamp, Eidolon of Countless Battles or Hero of Iroas4. Swamp, Desecration Demon or double enchants (double Gift if Hero of Iroas is out)Also, turn two Hero of Iroas into turn three gift of Orzhova + Ethereal Armor is scary. Dropping Desecration Demon is always scary, especially when you can drop them in successive turns. Archangel of Thune added as an additional threat in the air, also to boost late game in case you're coming to a stalemate.Don't forget that Brave the Elements is both offensive AND defensive.Sideboard:Bring in Fiendslayers against red/black. Bring in the Lifebane against anything non-black. If you need speed, drop the Archangels. If you're running a slower play, dropping the Heliods may help. Blind Obedience in there to combat R/G monsters and to avoid buckets of chump blockers. Side in Rootborn Defenses against Azorius/Espeer control in response to Supreme Verdict, or to just keep your dudes alive in lieu of an overloaded Mizzium Mortars. Extra removal for matchups against overrun/fast decks, especially R/G monsters or devotion decks. Revoke existence for troublesome gods/artifacts (mainly Erebos, his Whip, and Spear of Heliod).
