Deck Description

This deck concept came to me whenever I pulled Omnath, locus of rage at the battle for zendikar pre-release, I realized I could pair the elementals' "burning deaths" with things like outpost siege's dragon ability.

How to Play

The basic principle of this deck is to get out your outpost sieges and choose dragons, making it that when creatures you control leave the battlefield, outpost siege deals one damage to target creator or player. If you pair those up with Omnath's elementals, then you are dealing a solid 4 damage when one of them leave the battlefield, and that is only if you have one outpost siege out. Now let's say that you have out magmaw, then you can sacrifice your elementals to deal one damage to target creature or player, plus the stacking 3 from the elementals themselves, and the 4 from the outpost siege, making a total of 8 damage per elemental. However, if you are struggling to get out lands for omnath, but you already have omnath out, then you have the avengers of zendikar, which put out x 0/1 plants where x is the number of lands, giving you creatures to sacrifice for your outpost siege effect.

If you are not able to get magmaw out, then there are plenty of search cards, and of there is a splash of blue for fated infatuation, howl of the horde, and zada, hedron grinder combos to make up to three copies of every creature you control per combo. On top of that, if you are not able to burn with outpost siege, you could always get creatures out to power up hamletback goliaths and burn your opponent with burning anger.

Of course, there are a bunch of support to help power up your creatures, for example Nissa, World Waker is a wonderful landfall generator. With Nylea, the bow of Nylea, berserkers' onslaught, cyclops of eternal fury, and archetype of finality you can make all of those plants from the avengers of zendikar or the elementals from Omnath have double strike, trample, hexproof, deathtouch, and haste. However, if you are not able to obtain all of them, then you have Domri Rade to give you all of those perks.
