Another planeswalker that I've started looking at adding is Chandra, the Firebrand...how do you think she would fit in? What I've started thinking of doing would be:

2 Liliana of the Veil
3 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
2 Liliana Vess
3 Chandra, the Firebrand
2 Nicol Bolas Planeswalker

Your thoughts? I figured I would have enough discard with all the spells, Chandra's -2 ability as well as both Liliana's.

I love all of your suggestions, but I would like to eventually make this deck and definitely don't want to spend the hundreds of dollars on it...that being said, I cut out your expensive ass lands but left in the Jace, the Mind Sculptor.

Sorry...forgot about rotlung reanimator, the combo is Phyrexian Altar + Conspiracy + Rotlung Reanimator to generate infinite mana and tokens and using that + Cabal Archon for infinite life drain/gain

Looking more at your deck, I would suggest taking out the Withered Wretches, Edgewalkers, and Glorious Anthems. I think the Withered Wretches need to go because their are better clerics that you could put in like Battlefield Medic and I would take out the edgewalkers because your mana curve is so low already. The Glorious Anthems seem pretty meh, I'd probably take them out for another Teysa or 2 so you can draw into them faster.

I would also say that if you're going to keep the Cabal Archons then take out the Profane Prayers and maybe 1 Soul Warden, just because do you really need that much life drain/gain? If you were using it to destroy a creature then there are better removal spells; if you used it for massive life drain/gain then look at adding Phyrexian Altar. Phyrexian Altar comboes with Conspiracy and Cabal Archon for an Infinite Mana and Life drain/gain loop.

Take a look at my Cleric deck if you want. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=284586

Thanks for clearing up the math, it gets a little confusing at times. I'm definitely looking to replace the pure flames with ascensions, I just didn't have anymore ascensions at the time. Thanks for suggesting the spitfires, I don't know how I missed them...If I wanted to put them in the main deck, what would you suggest swapping out?

I'd be transmuting for mind funeral, not glimpse. Praetor's Counsel is interesting, thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into at least side-boarding it.

This deck looks pretty fun! Teysa is a nice addition especially with the Rotlung and Conspiracy. It's pretty similar to my Cleric deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=284586

More of a general question than one about this deck specifically...but fog can't prevent damage from burn spells, right?

I know that there are better counters than perplex, but I'm waiting to test play it to see if transmuting for mind funeral ever comes in handy. If it turns out that perplex is useless and i never need to transmute, then I'll definitely take it out.

Maybe I should get my dunce cap and stool ready before I ask this but what would be the ideal opening hand/hands for this deck? I'm a pretty casual magic player, so the card combo isn't really jumping out at me...other than cascading into hypergenesis and putting big, expensive creatures into play for free

Looks like a pretty interesting deck, I really like that it's not a typical zombie deck...How early would you be expecting to get army of the damned out though?

This helped me get so many ideas of what to add to my myr deck. I also love myr and also love overwhelming opponents with 1/1 tokens.

I don't play burn too much, but this looks pretty beast. Has Koth, Shrine of Burning Rage and burn spells...all of the makings for a good burn deck and your mana curve is low too. Nice Job!

Thanks a lot! I actually planned on putting some Myr Battlespheres into this deck but thought that with Shrine of Loyal Legions I'd be cranking out enough tokens. I like you're deck a lot, especially the planeswalker. I will definitely look into where to add Tempered Steel (not sure how I missed that) as well as the Stoic Rebuttal

I think I'll take out the Unnatural Predation for Titanic Growth, and the Corrupted Resolve for the Mana Leak. I'll see about adding the inkmoth nexuses(nexi?)as well but I'm not sure what cards to swap out for them as I'd like to try to leave the mana as is.

Thanks for the suggestions! I like your idea of adding the Condems, Ponders as well as the Nihil Spellbombs. Hopefully Jace, Memory Adept drops in price so that someday I could add him, he really would make this deck beast.

The only part of your suggestion where I differ is that I am not a fan of creatureless decks, I feel very naked without creatures on the board. From playing this deck, as soon as I start getting out my flying walls my opponents have just given up on attacking me which might as well be the same as me killing them off with a Doom Blade or Go For the Throat. For my own comfort I'll most likely leave the walls in for now but I will definitely put the creature removal and/or hand control cards in my sideboard for when I decide to mess around with a creatureless deck. Thanks again for the suggestions!

Throne of Geth would be a great addition to this deck and sync perfectly with modular, in my opinion. Sac an artifact, proliferate, and move all the +1/+1 counters onto target creature.
