Deck Description

Control deck based around Sorin and vampires who get the 10 or less life boost.

The idea is to throw down as many low cost creatures as possible and then spend the rest of the time making them lose life and/or slowing down the game to get Sorin Markov out.

I am considering more Blade of the Bloodchiefs because... when they work, they WORK! I had someone who conceded after I showed them my hand. I had a 4/5 Nighthawk out with Blade of the Bloodchief on it and my hand consisted of 5 removal cards (my entire hand)... My next 5 cards were also removal.

I don't have any of those, that's how. If it makes you happy I'll add them when I get them.

Any more constructive feedback that you would care to give?

I'd run Pulse Tracker instead of Blood Seeker, personally. But if not, then whenever you get the Hexmages, I'd take the Seekers out for them. Maybe do without Last Kiss? I don't know, I think there are some better cards to run than that in Standard. And I would also try looking into Kalastria Highborn. Great card for life loss. Other than that, I like the way the deck works out, nice job. Check out my Vampire deck when you get a chance, just click my name.

I don't know about Highborns because I have to pay... Since I'm running control and only half creatures I need to keep my mana open. Maybe though...

I like bloodseekers for two reasons, the first is that I already have 4 of them and the other is that my friends all go for them first which keeps them from using removal on my more dangerous creatures. That and only one of my friends run lifegain and pretty much all of them run large amounts of creatures.

Nice, add Doom Blade into the sideboard.

Yeah, I agree with you there. And actually I main decked it. The reason it wasn't in, in the first place was that I was focusing more on life loss.

i picked up zendikar this last year and created my vampire deck which has been twinked alot... i have only lost 2 games against the same deck (Vengevine G/W) played well over 200+ games with my vamps and very proud of them. check out my vamp deck, i suggest not so many "spell" cards... Gatekeeper of Malakir, best 3rd turn drop for vamps with kicker... Hexmage best counter removal (planeswalker destroyer)... Pulse Tracker best 1st turn monster drop (1dmg + 1 life lost)... 2 more blade of the bloodchiefs would help alot... vampire nighthawk is the best 3 mana creature in the game... imho, because it's Lifelink, Deathtouch, Flying, 2/3!!!! Feast of Blood is great removal, but i understand it doesn't remove indestructables... i use Guul Draz Assassin + Urge to Feeds for -1's to finish off those pesky indestructables. also "Go for the Throat" amazing card to sideboard and maindeck (if they're not using artifact deck).

It looks good, but you run less control than I do... Our decks fill two different niches.

Yeah, I've decided Nighthawk is good enough, I had been focusing on life loss before.

What do you all feel about me adding in some more Blade of the Bloodchiefs? With all the removal that I am running, I think it would help a lot.

I would add another Blade. I also agree with VampiricAssault09 and would add 4 Highborn's.
