if you play a lot of EDH, Command tower/strip mine are good investments as they can go into every deck, and like Ninja said, they are relatively cheap (command tower is like $5.00 as well).
The problem IS that I play a lot of EDH. I have 5 decks as it is. This will be my 6th. I need to ration those cards for the decks that need it like my 5 colors horde of notions deck.=)
why not just sub them out? You dont need a copy for each deck...
I used to build a deck a day. Then it got expensive, and I decided that I would rather have 2 Really good edh decks than 10 mediocre ones. When you start rationing cards, your deck suffers. Now, I have 2 good decks, and a fair amount of "fun" ones lol.
