I liked the look of Surrak as a commander, originally, but then I came across Animar, don't judge me. :'(I really do like the Simic guild too and have been wanting a commander that uses an abundance of counters to manipulate. There is a lack of Red in the deck for this very reason.I may consider taking Animar out of it, if I feel I am getting too much of an advantage in my playgroup.
A very typical green build. Get Animar on the field and then just puke creatures until you outnumber your opponents. Animar is well known for not requiring any advanced thinking.Also bear punch good, you not take bear punch out. Bear punch, awesome. Always use bear punch on draw, no surrender. #punchallbears
