Cool EDH deck! Never thought of using Surrak that way!
One neat suggestion that came to my mind was Primal Forcemage. You could have some funny moments with all that flash. Another could be Warstorm Surge. Both flash advantage AND some damage? Too good to be true.

Now there's one in the sideboard. Problem fixed.

Yeah. You could remove Corpsejack Menace. It doesn't help with the Liege's ability, since the Liege doesn't give any counters to creatures. Only card that gives +1/+1 counters around here is Slitherhead.
I suggest removing the Menaces for those two additional lands.

As said before, 18 lands seems a bit risky to play, but otherwise there's nothing to suggest.
This deck looks REALLY good. I really love Shadowmoor-themed decks, especially those Green-Black ones.

All I can suggest for now is that you add at least 2 additional land cards. (Maybe Putrefy too, since it is a great kill-spell.)
I suggest removing one Desecrator Hag and one Rendclaw Trow.

But as I said, I really liked this one. Thumbs up.

I agree with drakeraenes.
If your life would increase with Tree of Redemption's ability while Havoc Festival is in play, it doesn't rise instead. (The Tree's toughness still becomes the amount of your life.)
Though you can still use Tree of Redemption to lower your life amount if you have more than 13 life... Except there ain't much sense in it.
