Deck Description

Welcome to the NorthernWarlord's Budget Decks -series!

These decks are meant to inspire you and your playgroup to create simple, cheap decks and challenge each other! Can you and your friends find out who can dominate the battlefield by spending as little as possible on your cards?

The EDH Budget Decks are a bit different from regular decks. These bad boys have a total of 100 cards in them and are meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander (EDH) format, which is also known as the Commander format. These decks also have a bit higher budget than the regular Budget Decks: their average deck value should be somewhere between 30 and 50 dollars, including the deck's commander.

How to Play

Ohh, it feels so good to be bad!

Garna lets you unleash your nasty self. Discard creature cards to gain immense advantage, then drop Garna onto the field to regain any lost value!

- Need card draw? Cards like Cathartic Reunion, Pirate's Pillage or Thought Gorger will practically let you draw a ton of cards without downside! Just make sure you'll be able to cast Garna!

- Remember that discarding isn't the only way to get all out of Garna's foul abilities! Fraying Omnipotence, Incendiary Command, Apprentice Necromancer or Champion of Stray Souls can offer you with a surprising amount of advantage out of dying creatures as well!

- This deck's greatest weakness is that it needs a lot of mana to pull off the coolest things. Try to ramp up some mana using cards like Worn Powerstone, Hedron Archive, Brass's Bounty, Bog Witch, Pitiless Plunderer, Sifter of Skulls or even Trove of Temptation!

Deck discussion for EDH: Lethal Lunacy

Fraying omnipotence is awesome, better than deathcloud. You get to keep your lands haha. +1
