alex certainly hasn;t proven himself to be a great deck builder in my eyes... He's probably one of those people with 8 accounts that -1 votes all the top rated decks because of his bitterness that his aren;t good enough to make it there.

My search for Mishra turned up 8 results, 2 of which are probably what you were talking about.

Could you please enlighten us as to why the deck is bad? Etherium could come into play under multiple opening hands as a 10/10 on turn 3. Lodestone even bigger on turn 4. Hell, although unlikely... Platinum Angel could come out on turn 3.

Im not saying this is the end all deck, as I find many of my/playgroups decks are better... but its worth the 20 bucks just to see the look on a friends face as you play 5-7 cards on turn 1.

i think this is a good start to a deck. I would have recommended mishra's workshop but that would be out the question since you are trying to actually build it and you already said you didn't want to pay for it (i wouldn't either). maybe priviledged position because that comboed with platinum angel and darksteel forge almost garuantees a win. But then again, that would be impractical because of the number of those cards you have in the deck. Maybe fabricate would be good for this deck. That way you can get the stuff you need faster. Also i think its wonderful how everyone is bashing eachother on this site. Nice to see. After all, thats what this site is for- ridiculing people. : P yeah...that should stop. +1 on this deck by the way.

and i think too the deck is bad for multiple reasons

the myrs aren't needed since you play a lot of 0 costs

and i just think master of etherium is too vulnerable it's not a good wincon cause any card could sweep it from the board

if it's just a fun deck you could maybe add whispersilk or something that gives shroud?

I still dont understand how this wouldnt work in a causal setting Alex lol. Turn 4, you should have either Etherium or Lodestone out, at 10/10 or larger... worst case. Not to mention a Cranial would double that power. So bigger creatures is kinda a retarded statment.

Myrs are there for a reason, as I dont wish to add regular lands... and need the correct colors to play Etherium and Ethersworn.

I like this deck. +1 for sure. I'm a fan of artifacts especially after the Shards Block booming.

Now as for Aethercraft, Alex... Please before you rush to tear down someone's deck SOLELY because you just simply don't understand it, remove yourself from the page before you embarrass yourself. All your comments have proven thus far is that neither of you two know what an Artifact Deck truly is, and how powerful it can be to have everything in the deck be an artifact. Why do you think they came out with Artifact Lands and Affinity for Artifacts in the first place!? Maybe to play Darksteel Colossus for free? Or to allow for a retarded big Etherium? Or perhaps it's just to confuse poor souls who can't wrap their heads around basic MTG concepts.

Just finished a play test on that insect deck. I had a 120/120 turn 9. If there would have been a 10th turn, he would have been around 400/400

well ok but it doesn't matter to have that big creatures nowadays creatures must have bigger influence on the gameplay

but if you think magic is about getting 400/400 monsters all the time it's your choice

and thealextheory was an account of 4 people i used to be the owner at the start, but since some of the co-owners were actually posting rude comments and i got downrated alot cause of that

i am a tournament player not a flavor player that wants to make 400/400 creatures because they are really impressive

i really like this deck, because i love artifacts and that every card in this deck has great synergy with every card.

i also would like to suggest, if you could make room for the Empire cards from M12 as an added wincon but if that would be a pain its ok, would just like to know if it would work :)

Iike the deck. always loved artifacts. This type of deck, especially, has 1000 ways it can be run. Your deck is great for not only starting fast but i also like the platinum angel combo for that "Once in a blue moon" situation where the game is a long skirmish and you need a final win condition.
