Deck Description

this is a fairly traditional modern jund deck made a little easier on the wallet, i own this deck and use it for fnm, it does pretty well. some people may not consider $200 very budget but compared to most competetive modern decks this is only a drop in the bucket (im lookin at you tarmagoyf). the deck works great and if you want to spend a little more i would invest in some inquisitions of kozilek, malestrom pulse, some more abrupt decays or maybe even thoughtseize to round out the deck.

How to Play

the deck is quite simple to play as there aren't realy any crazy combos or anything like that. Play a few dureable creatures early on and then just clear a path for thwm with your removal and hand disruption. the sideboard can be a bit complicated but realy just read the cards and you should know what to put in. The champions of this deck are chandra, pain seer and blightning. chandra and pain seer can get you drawing up to three cards a turn and blightning combines awesome card advantage with some decent burn. let me know what you think about the deck, im happy to answer questions.

Deck discussion for awesome budget jund

Hey! Nice deck! What would you say about throwing in more rakdos charms in the sideboard? Since they are great at helping you against pod, splinter twin, affinity, and graveyard based decks. (I'm curious because its something Im thinking of doing too)

this deck looks cool and its way cheeper than the normal jund modern decks that are like 2000 because of tarmagoyf lily and bob. some thing i noticed about your design however, is that there are way to many 2 drops in my opinion. counting terminates, you have 16 cards with a cmc of 2 which can make your curve a little bumpy.i would try adding a couple more one drops like more bloodhall oozes and maybe more four drops.
