Deck Description

Experimenting with Landfall

Reviewing the Themes:
1) Drawing cards theme
Horn of Greed: draw cards = land played
Damia, Sage of Stone: (draw cards = achieve hand of 7 cards)
Quirion Ranger (supports drawing cards theme by returning lands to hand for Horn of Greed)
Storm Cauldron: (play +1 land per turn. supports drawing cards theme by returning lands to hand for Horn of Greed)
2) Playing Land
Storm Cauldron: (play +1 land per turn. supports drawing cards theme by returning lands to hand)
Azusa, Lost but Seeking (play +2 lands per turn)
Collective Voyage (works best when opponent is tapped out of mana)
Oracle of Mul-Daya (possible to play +1 land per turn AND +1 draw per turn)
Knight of the Reliquary (sac a tapped land for ??)
3) Landfall effects
Horn of Greed
Rampaging Baloths
4) Creatures
Elvish Piper: any creature from hand, bonus if creature is especcially expensive or multicolor
defense of the heart (two creatures from deck)
pattern of rebirth (would be better if this transition could be controlled ie. with mycoloth!)
Mycoloth...
Other funky stuff;
Mosswort bridge: can be great once 10 lands are in play. especially together with the effects from storm cauldron and quirion elves which could result in multiple free spells per turn.

Other build notes;
For a Primal Surge deck it is necessary to minimise Spells and max Permanents (artifact enchantment creature land or planeswalker)
ie. may not work well in this deck
