when I went to a dominaria prerelease one of my prerelease cards was "torgaar, famine incarnate" and I was wanting to make a mono black commander and that was the coolest one I got during that prerelease.
the goal is to get torgaar out as quickly as possible with using his own ability by playing as many low mana cost creatures as possible, then kill torgaar and do the hole process again. If you wondering why you want to kill him is because his second ability says "When Torgaar, Famine Incarnate enters the battlefield, up to one target player's life total becomes half their starting life total, rounded down." that why you want to bring him out as many times as possible his second ability brings down his commander cost.
