Not for a weenie deck. My personal favorite vampire is Malakir Bloodwitch, but other than that not really. Most I would do is swap the Lacerators for the Gatekeepers but I'm rather cruel that way. I'd rather watch my opponent try to choose what to sacrifice than hit them with a 2/2 each turn. Brings me more joy, personally. Lol.

It looks like it would anyway. I love mill decks so I can't bash on this too harshly lol

So, so, so, so, so true. I'm just throwing out stuff so you have an idea of what your weaknesses are and maybe consider stuff to throw in for said weaknesses.

I love the U/B faerie combo. I've always wanted to make a deck of them but never got the stuff for it. This gives me some good idea though, so thank you and good job :)

'Tis true. Sigil of Sleep would take care of it to a degree, but you only have 2 and if you face something like white weenie, then a swarm of 3/3 creatures would be bad. Maybe toss in something like Persuasion if you're playing casual. Or Clone, something to rob your opponent's creatures. Also, for casual play, Hurkyll's Recall returns all artifacts to the owner's hand so that solves the artifact problem. And Echoing Truth returns all creatures with the same name to the owner's hand. Just a few older cards I'm aware of that could help out.

Yes and no. Alot of your cards could come out before RA so you'd be set when he lands on the field, but if somebody gets him out before you (or god forbid more than one) then you're in pretty deep. Other cards do the same thing as RA though. Assassinate, Vengeance, etc. Stuff like Freed from the Real could be used against you as well if your opponent taps your "ping"-er before you. Your opponent could then tap your creatures and assassinate them (haha play on words). Your deck also seems to lack any kind of big creature defense besides counterspell. That could ruin you if your opponent got something bigger than a 4/4 out there. Just a little something to think on.

Absolutely. I generally make the deck on here that I WANT then I have reference of what to go get. Check out my mill deck. My current one isn't nearly as effective but I have references of what to get in the future.

2 things.

1: Yes, Cleric over Freeblade INFINITELY. Mill decks seem to lack defense, so why not make up for it in life gain?

2: Genesis Wave doesn't mill people. It's a self-targeting sorcery. Your friend could play anything in his deck, granted, but anything he didn't play would go to the graveyard immediately. So if he's milling you with Genesis Wave, then I dub him a cheater ^_^ with sword taps on the shoulder and everything.

Two words: Royal Assassin. That card would wreck this deck. I do like the idea though. As you said, you've been away from MTG for 10-ish years so I'm trying not to criticize too harshly lol. 10 years away explains alot of the older cards too. There are standard cards that do the same thing as alot of this deck..... But I still applaud you :) GJ

I love samurai!! XD this deck is amazing, I want it. If only for the fact that I could stand up and make those, "hwooaaa!!" sounds when Konda is equipped with Kusari-Gama and Smites all my opponent's creatures in one fatal blow. Hahaha ^_^ favorite creature type is Samurai by FAR. Round of applause to anybody who plays this deck. If I could like this a billion times I would :D other than all that, very good deck build.

I seriously like this deck. I'm not a huge fan of weenie decks like this where you lose so many creatures, but this is scary. I might have to try it out. Most of these cards don't seem to expensive either, which I thoroughly enjoy :)

Just a personal touch, I'd swap a Putrefax for Hand of the Praetors. Praetors cost 1CMC less, and with as many infect creatures as you have you could be landing 3 counters on your opponent for a 1B plague stinger :) besides, Praetors give each other that +1/+1 so each one could be a 5/4 infect.

In my personal deck I have 4 praetors and no Putrefax, but that's just me.

Oh, also. Just to add to what I've already said. Yes, I would take out the bloodhusk ritualists for something else. You need at least 2BB to make them at least semi-effective and paying 4 mana for a 2/2 isn't my idea of a good card :( again, just an idea.

Have you considered a Malakir Bloodwitch? 4/4 flyer pro-white and with this many vampires you can sap your opponent probably around 8-10 life when you drop her.
And what about Pawn of Ulamog? Whenever you sac a creature you get a token for either mana or another sac.
Just a couple ideas.
