Deck Description

Standard, Bant control...

How to Play

There are two things that's worth mentioning...

1.: I've added more counters to sideboard, because with Scatter & Dissolve, I'd like to counter those creatures(some of them) wich I returned to my opponents hand... ...Negate is for spells that could suffucate this deck...

2.: Prevention stuff in the sides, because against a fast & resellient aggro deck, my removal set just might not be enough...

Enjoy!

Deck discussion for Armada sent back to AEther

Lots of card draw. I like it.

What about Advent of the Wurm instead of Armada Wurm? Instant speed, quite a bit cheaper, and you get (basically) the same thing.

Thanks!

I've considered Adevnt, but it's totally different from Armada Wurm...

This is control & I don't have too many finishers, so those I have has to be infinite... ...Armada Wurm is hard to be delt with, since a removal other than a wipe is not enough to stop it, not even Sphere, since the token is not the same as Armada... ...Armada Wurm is resellient because of that & it's also a total 10/10 for 6, it's better than 5/5 for 4, even if it's instant speed & can deal with an attacking creature.......

Imagine, after a wipe is played by me, or my opponent & the board is cleaned, or near-cleaned, I cast Armada & I totally rule the board... ...even if the opponent manages to rebuild his/her board-game, Armada will totally block it off, so it's just as good of a defencive card as an attacker... ...most of the time, Armada won't even let the opponent totally rebuild his/her board-game, since he/she has to block if he/she does not have enough removal... ...& if the player can deal with Armada & rebuild, than I'll just play another wipe, than another Wurm, or just play Serenity & may be a Wurm after it... ...I draw everything I need for mid/late-game, 'cuz I have massive drawpower & the correct amount of everything in here....... :)

I love this deck, it works out so well, it is very stabil & awesome & it has given me my 3rd FNM win in a row (I didn't use this deck the 1st & 2nd time)... ...I've played in my home country, Hungary & I just might take this even to Austria... ...I consider using this at the next GP.......

Thanks for your suggestion!.. ...I'm planning to make a ramp-aggro deck... ...Selesnya... ...there, I'd use 4 Advent, 3-4 Armada, 4 Resurgence, some Charm & other stuff... ...also some populate to kick the wurm tokens & such....... :)

Does Supreme verdict kill all players creatures? Or just your opponents?

Each & every creature actually... ...so you're a freash starter, I see... ...I'll take a look at your decks soon & let me know if you'd need any help!..

In control, Verdict is perfect, since I play few creatures that I cast after Verdict, or Cleansing... ...AEtherling won't die to Verdict, or any wipe & Mutavault neither, since I won't activate it when I cast a wipe...
