Deck Description

Standard, USA Heroic Enchantment Dragon aggro...

How to Play

DAfck is this anyway??!?

Thing is, I use Ephara's Enlightenment on Brood Keeper, so I can return it & recast it automatically, thus generating more dragon tokens, giving the Keeper more counters & perhaps, when suitable, leaving Enlightenment on the Keeper for it to fly in along with the dragons... ...Crucible is usually epic with these & it also pumps Mutavault, though I could only afford 1 Mutavault because 2 would have broken the stability of the deck a little bit.......

Deck discussion for Ephara, Mother of Dragons

Mutavault? It gets +3+3 from Crucible of Fire

You're so right... ...haven't even thought about it somehow... ...problem is, not sure what lands I could take out for 2 Mutavault, cuz the base is sensitive here... ...1 plains for sure, but what else?......

I would do a colour count in which mana all your lands can produce and use the chart on the side to see which land would be the most optimal to remove, I would do it for you but I am at work right now:P so it would be faster if you did.

Already did it & it seems I could take out an island as well, but because I need the unconditional untaped blue land without damage, I still can't... ...so I took out 1 plains for 1 Mutavault... ...I only run 2 Crucible total anyway wich is good since I have plenty of draw & Mutavault is strong enough on it's own... ...but I really can't have 2... ...if I used 2 Confluence wich I'm not willing to do, I could though.......

Thanks again, mate!..

Seems fine to me, and anytime good Sir.

Too many pain lands isn't something you want, the M15 pain lands at least don't have to hurt you once you have a few lands in play, compared to confluence always hurting you.

DAT true... ...& I hope that in the next block, there'd be some new dual lands, though I doubt it... ...Scry Lands with only Pain lands just doesn't looking good for 3+ color decks...

It'll probably 3 coloured tapped lands like in alara block( at least for the first set)
Fetches are expected to get reprinted the following block but could also see a reprint in the 3rd set of kahns block as the set goes:
1st-Big set
2nd-Little set
3rd-Big set

The 3rd will be a big set? That's a 1st... ...I like it... ...Fetches are expected indeed & I think this'll be about Zendikar... ...according to the "Soul of..."-cards in M15: We already had RTR, Theros & also Scars of Mirrodin, so Zendikar is to be expected, because Theros was new & now it'll probably be a returned realm.......

Aqueous form, dragon mantle, purphorous. I like the idea of this deck.

it's not a first, it happens a lot actually.
Most recent sets that were big sets are:
Rise of the eldrazi and Avacyn restored.

Khans is located Shandalar(time travel block)
Don't quote me on them getting reprinted next block, all we know is that Maro hinted he wants to reprint them to make modern more accessible and more archtypes to be more reliable.
If reprinted it would be the Onslaught fetches, and people assume sometime next year meaning khans or the following set.

The block after khans could be about the eldrazi(as 2 of them let zendikar)

Thanks, KJ! Aqueous form indeed is nice... ...I considered Dragon mantle, but in a 3 colored deck, it's not so good... ...Purphoros wouldn't be so good either.......

hmm... ...Soul of Shandalar refered to it then... ...I expected that, but I have no idea what kind of block could that be.......

I just hope they don't plan to make a third mirrodin block since there is also soul of mirrodin in m15

Same here... ...it has no removal mainboard, & yet most of the time, it's boardgame compensates for that... ...it is actually competative wich I didn't expect... ...it actually crushes mono red, mono blue & even bested mono black... ...I've also tsted it against Gruul Devotion & Gruul Monsters so far & it beat monsters 3-1, Devotion 3-2... ...Mono Green beat it 3-1 though, Azorius Control 3-1... ...It beat Selesnya aggro 3-2.......

I would drop the Crucible to 1. Drawing 1 is great, having 2 isn't as fun. Consider reducing the variety of your cards to smooth out your draws. In this type of deck I would want to be consistently drawing cards like Ethereal Armor, Madcap Skills, Eidolon of Countless Battles, and cards like Mogis's Warhound instead of Triton Fortune Hunter.

Here's a heroic trigger deck I made. Tons of fun with combat tricks.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Just so you know, the combo here is Ephara's Enlightenment with Brood Keeper... ...as you enchant it on her, you can return it to your hand, because of the dragon tokens... ...I should have explained it in description....... :)

Crucible is very nice... ...sometimes I don't need it, but even when I'm left with 1-2 tokens & nothing else, or perhaps one Mutavault & a token, it gives me the victory... ...Warhound is just no good for me... ...if I equip it on the Hunter, it'll probably die soon.......

Ahhh sneaky combo! I didn't see it at first. It's a good mana dump, however I would still try to focus down the deck to a few synergies. I personally prefer having more consistent draws.
