Deck Description

Standard, Esper control...

How to Play

You can pretty much figure how it works & how the sideboard comes into play... ...I very much like Devouring Light with the Ram & Elspeth tokens, especially after drawing it with Dig Through Time...

Should I run all 3 Ashiok mainboard?.. ...do I need the 4th Hostilities in the sideboard?.. ...should I run a Perilous Vault in the sideboard(didn't put it in, cuz it's disadventegous with my walkers at times & it's also slow... ...if I didn't had 9 mana it could also be easily dealt with)... ...should I run only 2 Negates in the sideboard?......

Should I use a 2nd AEtherspouts in the sideboard?.. ...how well is that card working out these days for other players?..

Should I run 2 Dispise in the sideboard & if yes, what should I drop?..

Nyx-Fleece Ram now have really become amazing in the format & especially for this deck... ...it helps you survive in many ways, it speendens up the deck & adjusts the curve... ...it can avoid early damage & can also effectively block many of the midrange creatures... ...if the Elspeth tokens got Bile Blightened or Drowned into Sorrow, the Ram stays there to recive the benefits of the ultimate +2/+2-Flying... ...when I cast End Hostilities, the Ram dies, goes into my graveyard, thus helping me cast Dig Through Time easyer, so it really speedens up the deck in more than 1 way... ...just like Thoughtseize, Ram is also an easy cast after I already cast Dig Through Time within the same turn.......

Many players had to realize how great a card Dig Through Time is... ...Love to cast ThoughtSeize right after it, or Devouring Light with Convoke perhaps... ...Bitter Revelations is partially there to assist Dig Through Time even more by sending 3 cards into my grave at once.......

Any ideas for improvement would be nice...

Deck discussion for Prognostic Ingenuity

And here I was thinking I was the only one that found value in Fleece Ram!

It's even better now, than it was pre-rotation... ...& if you remember, the last pro-tour winner ran 3 in the sideboards & he actually won the final match with Fleece-Ram & Archangel of Thune... ...it was great then & it's even better now :)

Yep, I have lost to cards like that!

Like the lands, that come into play gaining you 1 life.
I have literally lost to decks with lands like that.
IF they wouldn't of gained the extra life, I would of won.

Like the old cards like Wooden Sphere.
Gaining 1 or 2 life, every turn, is really freaking a way to win without your opponent even knowing what is happening.
Here he is causing 3 damage a turn: 17, 14, 11, 8...and he thinks he has you at 8 life...but here you were gaining a life every turn...so, instead of 8, you have 12 life.
That 4 extra life is the difference of 2 turns!!!

I played Azorius Control & Gruul Devotion most of the time be4 rotation, so lifegain wasn't much of a threat to me... ...aggro decks are what I play the least, though I build them, I rarely use them at tournaments...

Now, I'm gonna' use this deck probably, but my Abzan Planeswalkers deck is also a potential tournament deck... ...guess I'm gonna' run more tests... :)
